Jungkook's pov:
When I step out of that suffocating room, I'm greeted with those two new faces. The sight itself makes a ton of questions rise in my head. But one thing I know is I can and will never trust Princess Yuki. I just can't believe Jimin was able to fall prey to whatever they had to say.
Ma immediately goes inside the room and I feebly ask Jimin to appoint two guards around her. I don't want her to lose herself. Not mentally and definitely not physically.
My sullen features immediately tighten as I step towards the woman and tower her. She doesn't seem to be intimidated by me or maybe I assumed it wrong because she hardly ever lets anyone see through that blank face of her's which is a tactic I'm starting to admire and hate at the same time.
This was madness! No explanation could ever justify a sister siding with her brother's enemy. She is here with an agenda. What surprises me is Jimin doesn't see it. "I want this woman chained." I say as I maintain the eye contact. No way in hell was I going to let this opportunity of blackmailing Taehyung slip out of my hands. Though I wasn't really that sure if he'd cave in.
He is a heartless demon in my eyes.
He might actually tag his sister's execution in my territory as a sacrifice.
But who knows. Maybe they are close. Maybe he'll melt.
The guy who came here with her comes and stands between us, shielding her from my dagger like eyes. "Is that how you say thank you?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Oh, yes I do. When you'll be beheaded and I'll look you dead in the eye, that would be my thank you." My mouth feels bitter from the hatred and venom I'm feeling and spewing.
"On what basis are you going to punish us? We didn't do anything except save your life....which I am starting to regret." He speaks while looking me up and down.
"You-"
"They are here to help." Jimin intervenes. "I know what you must be thinking. I thought the same too but she truly isn't here to help her brother-"
"And how are you so sure of that? You've known them for barely a day and now you trust them more than me?" I couldn't help but grit my teeth. Nothing in my life is going right and its slowly starting to make me lose my mind.
"I'll tell you only if you listen to me!!" He snapped and I blinked. Did he just raise his voice at me?
He sighed, his shoulders dropping. "Long story short. After Lady Yura was shifted to the jail these guys appeared out of nowhere on the doors saying they want to meet the king-""Don't you think all this happening and them visiting us on the same day is quite suspicious?" I threw another nasty glare at them.
"Entirely coincidental." The Seokjin guy butts in. "We had no clue that King Taehyung was up to something more than just sending dead bodies to your doorstep. If we did, we would have done something about it."
"And why would you have done something about it?" I still don't trust a word that comes out of his mouth and so I continue to glare at them without mercy.
"I don't like Taehyung." Princess Yuki pops out from behind his back.
"Oh, so this is a sibling rift going on. You'd run back to him when that anger goes away princess. Is that what it is?"
"Don't act like you know me at all, King Jeon." There. There I saw a hint of anger flashing in her eyes, even her eyebrows dipped in closer.
"And you don't act like you understand this situation! Always lived your life in the comfort of your home, never truly knowing what despair actually means. This is despair!! I'VE LOST MY BROTHER BECAUSE OF YOUR'S! HE TOOK MY WIFE! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH!" I huff through my mouth. I had no intention of having an outburst but the bottled up emotions inside had to find an outlet. And I refused that outlet to be an emotional breakdown.
