BELLA'S POV:
We are now sitting in the front row with Rose and Mr. Smith waiting for the result of the competition. I was surprised because we were the only ones who chose romance. Some teams even did horror-themed songs which was impressive. Fidgeting my fingers nervously, I tried to calm myself down. The host came to the stage and picked up the mic. The surrounding was pin drop silence now.
"The results are out now. Thanks for being patient enough AND BELLA'S TEAM WON THE 5000 dollars!" the host announced happily. The crowd started to go crazy for us. I was on cloud nine and hugged Rose without realizing it. Rose stiffened at that interaction. Quickly realizing what I did, I slowly withdrew myself from her. She still looked upset or maybe it's my imagination? I stood there and caught Mira staring at me with lust-filled eyes and it made me sigh. We won the first prize but at what cost? My friends were squealing and hugging each other but all I felt was dread consuming me now. "I'm not ready for the party tonight," I mumbled to myself frustrated.
ROSE'S POV:
We won the competition and to be honest I was expecting it. Not bragging about it but Bella is that good. Her talent is outstanding and even the judges asked me if Bella have experience singing for any production companies. Her performance was captivating. She literally had everyone's attention and I understand why. I was practically gawking at her the whole time. The video they played was unexpected but it impressed everyone. Of course, my happiness had to ruined by something or more like someone. I hated Miracle. I knew her name because I heard her friends cheering her up when she was asking Bella out as her date for the party. To be honest, she looked like she only wanted to get into Bella's pants and nobody messes with what's mine.
'CHILL, ROSE! STOP BEING SO POSSESSIVE' my heart exclaimed. I sighed running my fingers through my hair out of frustration. If Bella wasn't my student I would've claimed her in front of the crowd. I would've kissed her senseless.
The sound of door opening chased my jealous thoughts away, I saw Bella walking over to the bed. She was fully dressed for the party tonight. I forgot we still have 1 hour for the party. She looked at me her eyes was glazed with guilt. She opened her mouth to say something but I took my towel and went into the bathroom. I don't have the energy to talk right now. I just want to get over with this party.
(TODAY IS A SHORT CHAPTER GUYS. I'M TIRED SINCE I HAD WORK TO DO FOR MY DAD. HAHA, IT'S TIRING WHEN YOU'RE THE ONLY DAUGHTER AND THE ONLY ONE WHO HANDLES YOUR DAD'S WORK STUFF AND REQUESTS. MY DAD IS THINKING ABOUT BUYING NEW CAR AND GIVE AWAY THE OLD ONE TO MY BROTHER SINCE HE WILL BE WORKING SOON. SO I'M HANDLING THOSE THINGS LIKE CALLING THE DEALERSHIP AND RESEARCHING ABOUT CARS. IT'S TIME CONSUMING AND TIRING GUYS BECAUSE MY DAD WANTS CLEAR DETAILS. I LOVE HIM AND LOVE HELPING HIM. IT'S JUST BEEN A LONG WEEK FOR ME. I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT UPDATING OFTEN. BUT I PROMISE THAT I WILL UPDATE WHENEVER I'M FREE. IT'S LATE ALREADY I'M SUPPOSED TO BE ASLEEP BECAUSE TOMORROW MY DAD IS BRINGING ME OUT TO GET THINGS DONE.
