"....She my trap queen, let her hit the bando
We be countin' up, watch how far them bands go
We just set a goal, talkin' matchin' Lambos
A 50, 60 grand, prob' a hundred grams though-"

"Aydin and Shayla, didn't I tell you not to watch that?" Layla asked her now three year old son and her seven year old sister.

"But it's our favorite song," Shayla pouted looking at her older sister.

"Yeah mommy, I like fetty wap," Aydin chimed in.

Layla sighed looking at the children, shaking her head. Regardless of how many times she told them not to watch Fetty's videos they wouldn't listen.

It's been three years since Zoo and Layla had seen each other. For a little while Layla struggled to take care of Aydin. She even turned to stripping for a year or so, to stack some money up, till she could get the money from her savings account. Once she did, she managed to find a two bedroom apartment out in New York like she had planned.

She'd often visit her cousin Asha, who still lived with Aunt Tasha. Aydin would often play with Melo, who was basically his best friend. She'd also go to Ms. Rosetta's house so she could spend time with her grandson, and so he could spend time with his uncle and aunts. Jenni was still Layla's bestfriend and she'd drive to New York to babysit the kids while Layla was at work, if the babysitter couldn't make it.

Once Layla stacked endlessly and bought herself a car, she stopped stripping, and got herself a job at a bank.

Meanwhile, Zoo was living the life. Partying, making music, getting money and bitches, buyinh foreign cars, anything he wanted he had. He was at the top of all the charts with his hit singles 'Trap Queen', 'My Way', 'Again' and 'RGF Island'. Money was comin in left to right, but he made sure to put his team on.

Ever since the talk with Layla he had stopped trapping, along with his boys. It's like they all changed overnight, he spent day n night in the studio, makin music. He really wanted to be in his son's life, in fact he had opened a bank account for his son, depositing $500 a week. But Layla didn't touch the money, she knew about the account, but she felt that it could benefit Aydin in his older years, or in case of an emergency.

Zoo had not seen Layla or Aydin at all. He wasn't present at his son's birth, but every night he'd call his mother asking how his son was. He missed Layla too, but he never admitted it. In all honesty, all his songs were about her.

"Mommy, snack?" Aydin said tugging on Layla's sweatpants. "Pweaseee."

"Sure baby, whatchu want?"

"Noodles," He cheesed running back to Shayla.

Layla shook her head at how much he was like his father, not only were they physically alike, but they liked most of the same things. Aydin loved oodles of noodles just like his dad, that's all he pretty much ate as a snack.

After eating their noodles, Layla bathed both kids, then showered herself. Layla made sure they got anything they asked for, but she made sure to not spoil them too much. She dressed Aydin in some jeans, Legend Blue 11s, and a plain white shit; Shayla dressed in some jeans, Gamma 11s, and a plain black shirt, Layla did the same dressing in Cool Grey 11s, jeans, and a grey cami.

She grabbed her purse, locking the door to the apartment and going to the garage with the kids. She placed Aydin in his car seat, and helped her sister with the seat belt, then got in the front seat or her black Range Rover.

"Where we going?" Shayla asked looking out the window.

"To Aunt Tasha's house," Layla replied making a left, entering the highway.

"Mean," Aydin said frowning that they were going there.

Layla chuckled hearing her sons comment, "Melo's gonna be there."

Soon enough they had made it back to Paterson. She picked up Aydin, then held Shayla's hand as they walked to the front door.

"Auntie Asha," The kids squealed once the door was opened, they both hugged her running into the house.

"Hey guys," Asha smiled. "Hey cuz."

We both hugged then went to the living room which was filled with boxes. "What's with all the boxes?"

"My mom kickin Tanisha out," Asha said shaking her head. "She doin drugs & drinkin again."

"Damn, she looked like was doin well though,"

"She was, but I don't know. Ma's just gonna take her back in anyways, it's like the four time it happened," She shrugged, flipping through a magazine. "You know the guys are comin back in town."

Layla stayed quiet not saying anything. Asha looked up from her magazine sighing, "He's gonna want to meet Aydin, you know."

Layla nodded, "Yeah I kno-"

"Can we have ice cweam?" Aydin and Melo asked running down the stairs, followed by Shayla.

"No, Melo you already had some," Asha said.

"Auntie La, pwease?" Melo asked pouting.

"Sure baby, we'll go get some. Go put your shoes on," Layla smiled.

"You needa stop spoiling these kids," Asha laughed shaking his head.

"I'm not," Layla said grabbing her bag and keys. "You needa start spoilin yourself and get up out this house."

"I know," Asha laughed. "I'm lookin for a place that's not in the hood."

Layla nodded, then chatted a little more with Asha. Layla walked with the three, putting Aydin his car seat, then Melo in his. Shayla sat in the middle seat using her Ipad. They spent the rest of the day getting ice cream and watching movies.

Melo didn't want to leave so he ended up sleeping over. But Melo was practically there every other day. He was there so often that he had his own bed and his own car seat in Layla's car. He had a few clothes and shoes at Layla's apartment as well, so it was no problem at all.
