Mysterious Woman: So, wait, first we try to kill this Era guy, then he kills one of our number, then he starts up a rival assassination business? The nerves!
Akio: I told you all! I told you and told you that this guy isn't gonna pull punches, but nooooo, let's send someone from our own squad after him. "It'll be fine" you said, "Nah, he'd win", you said.
Mysterious Woman: Hey, don't start pointing fingers. We all thought he was going to be a pushover! How were any of us supposed to know he was such a badass?
Akio: The guy's a freaking pro-hero, you twit! I told you! I said that, "Hey, a pro-hero might be a little bit difficult", but you all said we were just being wusses! Now we've lost both a client to that Era guy, and a squad member to the idiot who suggested it!
Mysterious Woman: Hey! Don't be throwing shade my way! You were perfectly on board with my plan, you're just as guilty as I am!
Akio: I was perfectly on board with the client request! What I was not okay with was sending our own guys to do it! We are assassins, not bodyguards, you moron!
Mysterious Man #1: Enough. It is painfully obvious that most of us won't stand a chance against the concept. We need to get some outside help, from someone other than Black Hat.
Mysterious Woman: Yeah, that could work... I'm not against the idea. But who are we gonna get? Black Hat's the biggest name and one of the most powerful people we know, so if we are going to find anyone more powerful than them, they'll probably be a hell of a lot more expensive than we can afford.
Mysterious Man #1: Actually, I have someone in mind. Now I know it might seem crazy to say that anyone other than Black Hat is powerful, but hear me out. I've got an old friend who might be perfect for this. She's a genius, and I mean a literal certified genius, she's got a ton of firepower, and she's been in this business for way longer than you think. She's been around the block a few times, know what I'm sayin'?
Akio: And do you think she'll even be willing to help out our sorry asses? We already have a reputation, and she might be less than inclined to help a bunch of losers.
Mysterious Woman: Who is this person, anyway? You're being really vague, and it's not the best tactic to keep us all in the dark like this.
Mysterious Man #1: I understand your hesitation, guys, but trust me on this one. It's better to keep her identity a secret for now. When I say she's more dangerous than you, I'm not kidding around. Like, she's an absolute freak of nature. The only reason why she's still on our side and not trying to assassinate us is because she's one of my childhood friends, and she trusts me.
Mysterious Woman: And you think she'd actually be willing to help us after you, I'm assuming, left her and went your separate ways? From that perspective, it sounds like she'd be more inclined to try and kill us, rather than help us.
Mysterious Man #1: Listen, guys, I get it, but trust me when I say that she's the best shot we have at beating that Era guy. She's a genius, she's powerful, and she's got a whole lot of experience in this business. Yeah, she might not be too happy to see me at first, but trust me, I'll be able to convince her to help us out. Besides, she owes me a favor from way back when, so she'll help us out. I'll bet my life on it.
Mysterious Woman: Well, I guess if she's that insane of a powerhouse, it's worth a shot. How soon can you get in contact with her?
Mysterious Man #1: I can try getting in touch with her as soon as tomorrow morning. We need to come up with a plan of action. As for payment to get her to help us out, I'll convince her to do it in exchange for a favor. We'll take care of all the details tomorrow. In the meantime, just relax and let me handle this.
Mysterious Woman: Alright, that sounds like a plan. And you really think that she'll go for it, just to repay a simple favor?
Mysterious Man #1: Trust me on this one. She'll go for it. It'll take some convincing, but I know her, and she'll come around. Just let me handle things, and we'll have our very own powerhouse on our side. Then we can teach that Era guy a lesson he'll never forget.
Mysterious Woman: Aight, I'll leave it in your hands. But if this blows up in our face, I'm blaming you.
Mysterious Man #1: Fair enough. We'll get this all figured out. Don't worry, this is gonna be a piece of cake. Tomorrow, we'll have our powerhouse by our side, and she'll blow that Era guy sky-high. You'll see.
