Samantha Keeling Enterprises Launchpad, Somewhere on Earth-29

Era: So, let me get this straight, since I've destroyed a giant "Face Raider" that appeared over Summerford single handedly with my techno-powers, you plan on launching me into the void beyond the Omniverse using what is essentially a Kirby cannon to stop the "mothership" of the Face Raiders?

The Launchpad is a circular clearing carved into the forest; a white circle cut into the ground by the trees. At the center of the clearing is a huge metal platform on a steel scaffolding, surrounded by several enormous silver pipes. The pipes connect to a huge round black barrel that points directly skywards; the back of the barrel embedded firmly into the launchpad. Small dots of light glow from within the scaffolding, while the barrel itself is covered in runes and carved symbols.

Technician: Precisely. The alchemical-

Era: Magical.

Technician: -device you are connected to will amplify your ascent out of the world, and, due to limited amount of friction within the space outside of our world and ascending verses, the propulsion should get you into its range within a few minutes, leaving you a few hours to dismantle the war machine.

Era: Just wanted to make sure. Not the weirdest thing that's happened in Omniverse. Let's One Punch this thing.

The Technician nods, before signaling to his assistants. Two of his team pull two levers in opposite directions. This causes the platform to start shaking, before a loud 'click' causes the black barrel to start slowly spinning and gaining speed. More Technician's activate a huge control board, each flicking a separate switch which causes the symbols carved into the barrel to start glowing and thrumming with magical energy. With another flick of switches, the pipes begin spitting out clouds of white steam into the center of the Launchpad, causing the barrel to turn even faster

Era: Is the barrel supposed to be spinning?!

The Technician turns to Era

Technician: Yes, this is completely normal. The black barrel spins to create friction in order to build magical energy, the steam from the pipes is used to dampen the friction so the barrel can spin faster without melting, the symbols carved into the barrel act as pressure valves, and the symbols carved into the launchpad act as the final release!

The barrel continues to spin faster and faster, the thrum of magic intensifying

Era: Well, keep in mind, just because I have a TV for a head doesn't mean I can't vomit!

The Technician merely gives a thumbs up, before focusing back on the control board as the Thrusters of the cannon cause the ground the shake heavily

Technician: All systems look good, cannon ready! Launching in 5...4...3...2...1- LAUNCH!

The technician slams a control, firing the Thrusters and sending a huge jet of flame from the back of the cannon, launching the barrel into the sky while Era remains attached.

30 minutes later...

We find Era, launched into the Omniverse, while inside a barrel.

Era: Okay, this was definitely not what I thought it would be like, and now I realize that I don't know how I'll be getting back. They didn't really give me an intercom...

Era has a Lightbulb moment. Era tunes his TV head into the launch site.

Era: Hey guys, I'm wondering, when this is over, how am I going to get back?
