Episode 54: Naga in Ninjago

We cut to a rundown looking village in this section of the collided worlds. Like most of the locals that have been affected by the Worlds Collide Event, it is very much deserted, and badly damaged. Suddenly, from above, a pod floats downwards towards the town square, and eventually lands gently on the ground. It then opens up, releasing its passenger, Ruby Smith, before floating away again.

Ruby: Alright Contractor. Let's find whatever's causing this mess and put a stop to it.

Ruby begins to fly around the broken town, assessing the damages and looking for the ones responsible for its downfall. At one point, she hears a rustling from inside on of the buildings, behind one of the few still intact doors. Ruby, thinking that it is one of the people responsible for all this, rushes towards the door and kicks it down, swords drawn. However, it was just a small family, one of the few people left in this place. They all look like they are lego minifigures, yellow skin and all, but that's to be expected of this place, as the Contractor informed her during her debriefing before. Of course, she was also told that another member of the Concept Commandos was here as well, but she hasn't seen hide nor hair of them.

Ruby: There's no way I am going to find these people alone.

Ruby suddenly has an idea.

Ruby: Let's call someone I know who lives on DDICU 25.

Ruby takes out her phone and dials up someone on it. It rings for a moment, but the person on the other end picks up.

Era: Hi Ruby! What's up?

Ruby: Honestly, trying to find someone dangerous. Want to help me out?

Era: Honestly, I would love to, but I'm looking for Cain right now. I've checked every location, and right now, the place I'm at is the last place I'm looking.

Ruby: Well, if you find your sister, could you help me? I'm in some sort of village in the Ninjago section of the "Collided World".

Era: Wait...hold on a second.

The line goes quiet for a few minutes, then Era speaks up again.

Era: I see you.

Ruby turns around, and sees that Era is behind her, along with a woman with bubblegum pink hair and an eyepatch of the same color.

Era: Hey Ruby!

Ruby: Era? What are you doing here?

Era: Like I said, looking for my sister. I think that she's one of the people responsible for all this, though I don't think it's her fault. She was acting weird the other day, and now-

The woman besides her elbows him in the stomach.

Era: Right. Long story short, I'm looking for her both because the Concept Commandos want her stopped and I want to snap her out of this.

Ruby: I'm sorry, who is this?

Rie: Rie Satou, one of the best assassins, and coincidently one of Cain's friends.

Ruby: Wait, as in the Rie Satou who is on the Omniverse wanted list for crimes against DDICU Prime?

Era freezes a little, then looks at Rie judgingly.

Rie: Okay, I may have glossed over this, mostly because I'd assumed that this is what I'd do, but I may have covered their Chroma City in gum once, maybe twice, and kidnapped one of the Guardians by technicality.
