Niki's Estate

Five carriages drawn by horse begin their travel into the Estate, each one housing four different individuals of differencing DND races. In the inside of the first car, there is a tiefling girl, looking excited to be a part of the games, but still a little shy around the others, A firbolg, who is deep in thought, obviously from some sort of monastery, A minotaur who is dressed dapperly, and an eladrin who is wearing the clothes of a priest. He is the one that starts up the conversation.

Riarlias: So, who's excited for the competition?!

The dapper dressed minotaur speaks up.

Koorfuran: Everyone is, of course. I think though that our friends here are already strategizing.

The tiefling woman sits up.

Nethcyra: Oh, I am as well...just still thinking about how much I get to rely on myself for a change of pace.

Koorfuran: Interesting. I'm sure you will do well in this game.

Nethcyra: Thank you.

We now cut to the next carriage, where another firbolg, this time female, who looks like she would perform at music festivals, another minotaur who has dressed like they've been in the wild for some time, a half-elf who is obviously a rogue of some kind, and human, also a rogue, who looks like he's been through a lot of hardships. The firbolg, is currently talking to the minotaur, as she is confused at what he just told her.

Yllamys: Wait, wait, wait. Let me repeat what you just said to me. You left your kids-

Farrat: Three years ago, yeah. What can I say, the wilderness called to me. I'll be heading off to wherever nature calls me to.

The half-elf joins the conversation, as she is also a bit confused, and a bit disturbed by Farrat's carelessness.

Arphira: That sounds a lot like being irresponsible. If my parents didn't put me up for adoption, my life would have been a whole lot different from what it was.

Farrat: Relax everyone, they have a mother. My wife understands my situation and is looking after the kids while I'm away.

Now the human joins in the conversation, glaring at Farrat and speaking in a scornful manner.

The Escapist: If you want my opinion, go home. Children are very fragile beings, and who knows what could happen while you are off doing gods know what. I know that as soon as I see her face, I will make the lives of so many children a lot more comfortable.

Arphira: Dude, that's a bit too ominous. You might want to tone it down a little for the game.

Farrat: Yeah. The whole reason I came is to win money for them. I would literally do anything for my kids.

We now cut to another carriage, this one having a dwarven barbarian, polishing his axe, a very overweight human of a man, a changeling, who is massaging a necklace around his neck with a symbol of a deity of his, and a loxodon, who sits silently with the others. She tries to start a conversation, but the atmosphere of the cabin causes her to stop before she starts.

In the fourth carriage back, the atmosphere is the opposite. An air genasi is in deep conversation with an elven paladin, all while a dwarven druid and a Dragonborn watch in silence.

Yelxidor: You would love my deity, Urasil. He is the god of peace and love. His only message is simple, stop the fighting whenever possible and make the world a better place.
