Episode 13: Coja in Chroma City

Chroma City, California Territory, Lower Canada

We cut to Chroma City, home of the hit TV series "Chroma Squad". It is a bustling city that fits its location in California, though with a bit more skyscrapers and less tiny homes. We cut to one of these skyscrapers, which serves as both an office building, and a vault for some of Samantha Keeling Enterprises belongings, such as prototypes, serums, and of course Plasmatic Liquid Of Tremendous Energy (P.L.O.T. Energy) of all colors.

A janitor is mopping in the hallway. He's listening to music in one ear-bud before noticing the commotion of an alarm going off in the vault room.

As he looks up, he sees a humanoid squirrel alien hybrid in front of him. It proceeds to beat him to a pulp along with other workers by similar creatures.

Meanwhile, in the vault.

We cut to two of these humanoid squirrels, escorting a person in a suit of exaggerated armor, so exaggerated that it's hard to tell that this thing is human. They have currently broken into the vault, and are heading to the P.L.O.T. Energy storage.

Niki.chr: Excellent work minions. We are almost done. It is now time to get what we want.

The two grunts nod and approach the door leading to the storage. They burn a hole through the door, and allow the person inside the suit to enter into area, which is filled with cells filled with P.L.O.T. Energy ranging from blue, to black, to green, and even yellow. However, the boss seems to notice someone standing in their way. It is a purple female tabaxi, wearing armor similar in nature to that of Protoman.

Niki.chr: Well, if it isn't Coja. It seems like you're here to attempt to take me down, once again.

Coja: I will end your reign of villainy Niki. And I will not let you leave this vault with any valuables.

The henchmen ready themselves to fight Coja, but the boss waves them away.

Niki.chr: I got this. This will be easy to take you on. Draws a giant broadsword

Coja: I wouldn't count on that. Draws a katana We are on the same wavelength of intellect, after all.

The two of them charge each other in battle.

Coja unleashes a flurry of slashes with her katana, her movements quick and precise and her attacks aimed at Niki's exposed weak points. Niki, however, parries and dodges with expert skill, her broadsword deflecting the strikes and opening up opportunities for her to counterattack.

Coja leaps back, taking a defensive stance. Niki takes advantage of the moment to perform a powerful overhead swing, but Coja narrowly dodges, then retaliates with a well-timed thrust that leaves a shallow cut on Niki's shoulder.

Coja presses her advantage, using her superior speed and agility to keep Niki on the defensive. She moves in and out, striking at Niki with quick slashes before darting back and avoiding retaliations. Niki is constantly forced to keep her broadsword moving to defend herself against the onslaught, her expression growing more strained and frustrated by the moment.

Niki growls in frustration, and then launches a feint attack before suddenly changing her grip and unleashing a powerful side swing. Coja, expecting the feint, raises her katana to block, but the sheer strength behind Niki's attack causes her to stumble back, momentarily off-balance.

Seeing an opportunity arise, Niki capitalizes on Coja's momentary lapse. She uses her superior strength and size to force Coja back further, raining down relentless blows with her broadsword. Coja is forced on the defensive again, her katana becoming increasingly battered and chipped with each block.
