Episode 50: Requiesce in Pace

Another night comes and goes. The contestants are now starting to become restless. Knowing that they've gotten rid of an Assassin an know that there are only two left invigorates them, but also realizing that any one of them could be the target of their rage keeps them grounded. Today, nearly half of the contestants arrive in the dining hall at the same time, those there being Bolnin, Yelxidor, Vingin, Beilamin, Tempest, and Luvrek.

Vingin: Well, we are all still alive.

Luvrek: That's the truth.

Yelxidor: Hey, one down, two to go. That's good, right?

Tempest: Yeah. Helps to know you're sleepin' safe too, you know?

Bolnin: It really is.

A knock is heard, and Baermur enters the room.

Baermur: Hey, still alive!

Yelxidor: Welcome to the land of the living!

Baermur laughs a little and sits down.

Baermur: Honestly, it feels like a long time since I've laughed.

Luvrek: Yeah, me too.

Vingin: Don't get too settled down. Someone's about to die. I just feel it in my gut.

At that moment, the door opens again, and Noflithe and Is enter.

Is: I see you are all in high spirits.

Noflithe: I'm glad that we are all celebrating a victory. It's good to feel great about this. Now, does anyone have any suspects?

Tempest: Dude, chill. It's bad to speculate at this time anyways. We don't know who died yet.

Luvrek: In an attempt to be not...relaxed as Tempest, we can't speculate just yet. Without someone, you know, dead, anything is just noise.

Beilamin: Noise that, of course, could tell us who's suspicious.

Another knock, another time the door opens. This time, Nethcyra walks in.

Nethcyra: Hey everyone.

Is: Morning.

Yelxidor: Sleep well?

Nethcyra: Yeah, thanks to the shield. What about you?

Yelxidor: It was a bit nerve racking to be honest. Knowing that Grim was killed last night, that puts a bit of pressure on you.

Is: So, shall we actually talk about who it may be?

Vingin: Seems like Koorfuran, The Escapist, Riarlias, and Farrat are still left.

Baermur: May I speak for everyone here? Farrat is most definitely suspicious, but Riarlias is a piece of-

A knock at the door interrupts Baermur as Koorfuran and The Escapist walk through the door.

The Escapist: Well, I see that everyone is here.

Beilamin: Not everyone. Riarlias and Farrat still have yet to arrive.

Koorfuran: Well, that was...not what I was to expect to be honest.

The Escapist: Me neither. It's like the Assassins are randomly choosing people on purpose. Either that, or it really was Riarlias and Farrat was a red herring.

Is: So, to summarize, whoever walks through that doorway is most likely an Assassin.

The Escapist: At this point, maybe.
