Era: Hey Ruby, are you sure that there are more guys in the Ninjago universe? Because quite frankly, I'm not sure myself, and Cain's getting heavy to carry.

For the past few days, the three of them have been using a pathway through the mountains to get to wherever Ruby was leading them, with Cain, who is still under some sort of control, on Era's back.

Era: I mean, I enjoy walking everywhere myself, but you said that we are on a time crunch, so why not teleport? You know where the energy source is!

Ruby: I said this already, we know where, but teleporting is risky. For all we know, we are teleporting into an enemy filled location. I'm really the only one who can fly, so walking is the only way to get there.

Era: I'm pretty sure that teleporting is easier, mostly because of the mind-link thing.

Ruby: What mind-link thing?

Era: Sh#t! Forgot to mention the mind-link thing. See, at least according to Cain before she got possessed, Resurgents have a mind link where they can talk to each other mentally.

Ruby stops in her tracks and turns to Era.

Ruby: Wait, so you mean to tell me that we've been carrying what's basically something that tells the enemy where we are and who we are after at all times, and you didn't think to tell me?

Era: I'm not going to abandon Cain! She's the closest thing I have to a caring sibling!

Ruby: I know Era! It would have probably been better if we left her with The Contractor or someone!

Era: I have my reasons for not doing that!

Rie: Oh my gods! Stop bickering already!

Era and Ruby turn to look at Rie, who is getting fed up with all of this.

Rie: Era, give me Cain.

Era: I already told-

Rie: You're clearly tired. Look, I know you said I shouldn't be alone with Cain, but may I also remind you that you also said I can be around you all for work and stuff. This is work based, and right now you are hurting everyone by being so stubborn.

Era sighs and reluctantly hands Cain over to Rie.

Rie: Now, I'm assuming that the signal hasn't moved at all from when we started?

Ruby: No.

Rie: Cool. I'm going to stand as far away from you as possible while watching you so that Cain can't overhear whatever plans you may have. I'll stay out of the loop as well, mostly because I'm great at improvising. And if anyone has a problem with this, then the gods strike them down now!

Suddenly, a small space-vessel descends rapidly above the group, narrowly missing them, as they fall into the forest below.

Rie: Well, technically no one is dead.

Era: Stay there Rie.

Era and Ruby rush down into the forest to see what just landed

...

The duo arrives at the crash-landed spacecraft. From the cockpit of the ship, a woman with long black hair in a ponytail steps out. She is equipped with a sword on her outfit, which looks semi-royal in nature.

Ruby: Who are you?

???: My name is Elizabeth Chet, daughter of Neo and Brantsteele.

Era: Hold on! Wild guess here, you're the one from DDICU Prime.

Elizabeth Prime: Yes, how did you-

Era: Our Elizabeth has been missing for a year or so at this point. You'd think that someone of royalty would be found quickly.

Elizabeth Prime: Well, I hope she finds her. In the mean time-

Suddenly, the sound of something flying overhead catches Elizabeth's attention.

Elizabeth Prime: Sh#t, they followed me.

Era: Who did.

Elizabeth quickly hides in a nearby bush, and, not knowing what other choice they had, Ruby and Era follow her. From above, three suits of blue samurai armor float and descend onto the ground. They then begin to move around the area, taking notice in the ship particularly.

Ruby: What are those things?

Era: Guardian Drones. DDICU 7 made them to help with the constant warfare against their SKE's takeover, and they provide the League of Guardians with them as a means of enforcement in major Omniversal issues. I don't know why they're here though.

Elizabeth Prime: Might be because I broke past their blockades.

Ruby: Wait, you mean you're here illegally?

Elizabeth Prime: Listen, I've already made up my mind. A friend of mine named Museum acted crazy and ended up here, and I'm going to try to get him back.

Era: Wait, did he have a static look in his eyes?

Elizabeth Prime: I don't know. I didn't see it. He was complaining of headaches though.

Ruby: Was he a Resurgent?

Elizabeth Prime: Yes.

Ruby: Then he's probably mind controlled with a bunch of others. Anyways, I think you need to turn yourself in.

Elizabeth Prime: Again, not going to happen. I didn't do all of this for nothing. I'm going to find my friend if it actually kills me.

Era: Ruby, we can't just let her go off alone like this.

Ruby: I know. That's why we need to get her to the Guardians.

Era: No, I mean we have to help her.

Ruby: Excuse me?

Era: Yeah, I said that right. Listen, we need to get all the help we can get, and besides, I won't be happy if someone stopped me from getting Cain.

Ruby: We already got Cain though.

Era: The point is, let's just help her and by extension, help us.

Ruby grimaces for a second, before finally relenting.

Ruby: Fine, but we're not going to fight these drones. I don't want to get in trouble myself.

Era: Fair enough. Anyways, let's get back to Rie before she does something foolish.
