Niki's Estate, Random DND Universe

We cut to Akari, along with her boyfriend James, who comes from the other canon, walking across her mother's estate.

Akari: So yeah, this is where my Mom apparently is going to do her latest scheme.

James: he shakes his head I still don't understand why she does these stupid schemes in the first place.

Akari: I think she does it to take a break from the usual villainy she does, overseeing Caligo while they take over DND villages, sending assassins after people, those sorts of things.

James: he just sighs You know, I still think that your mother is one of the most confusing villains in terms of motivation.

Akari: The best way to put her is that her motivation is that she is a villain.

James: he shakes his head again Still, most villains still have an end goal they want to accomplish. Your mother seems to just... be a villain 'cause she can be.

Akari: I think that is the point. Anyways, you have to admit, making a plan to put DND adventurers in a death game while broadcasting it on Omniversal Television is an interesting idea. I still can't believe that they let her make her own TV show.

James: he nods I mean, it is interesting. Just makes no sense to do something that convoluted rather than just, I don't know, sending Caligo to kill said adventurers.

Akari: She says there's no flair, and flair is something needed to make a good scheme.

James: he sighs yet again I swear, if I hear the word "flair" from your mother's mouth one more time...

Akari: heh heh Yeah, that's a little outdated, I think. Still, it's nice that she's also involving family in making the challenges.

James: he just sighs yet again again That's another thing. Why did she ask you to help make the challenges?

Akari: You know why James.

James: he sighs yet again yet again again Right, right. And she's making me judge the death games, ain't she?

Akari: I don't think that there is a judge for this death game. If you want, she could give you a challenge as well to make.

James: it's some sort of combat challenge, ain't it?

Akari: I mean, Mom's already got the forest challenge, Her right hand has the scavenger hunt challenge, Dad has an easy one, the noise challenge, I have the cabin challenge, my brother has the travel challenge, his wife Yuno has the water challenge, probably because it is first on the challenges and Dad doesn't want her messing up anything later on, and the Church challenge is being handled by someone else. I think that leaves the graveyard challenge, actually.

James: he groans Of course the graveyard challenge is the only one left. Why does it have to be a graveyard?

Akari: I don't know honestly.

James: he groans yet again yet again yet again yet again It's most likely because she wanted to give it to me as... some sort of ironic joke.

Akari: You know Mom was surprised that you came over. Honestly the graveyard thing was probably just a placeholder or something.

James: he raises an eyebrow at this comment Hold on, she thought I wasn't gonna come?
