It had been a fair bit of time since the whole "saving the senate" stunt Malidictus and Maul had pulled off, and it was safe to say that despite doing well, Talzin had chewed them both out about it. Saying it was reckless to be inside enemy territory with no idea what kind of danger could be there. "Remind me to not annoy Talzin," A young Zabrak commented as he saw the pair getting their asses reprimanded big time. If anything, it was amusing to the few that saw, to see the big bag Sith Emperor getting told off by his wife.

Having "made it up" to Talzin, Malidictus was working at his desk at the top of the temple, organising the empire and allocating resources to the imperial fleet, as well as something secret, a side project if you will. That was when he felt it, a pull. An irresistible pull to the one place he thought he'd never lay his eyes on again. Korriban. Homeworld of the Sith Purebloods, and once capital planet of the Sith empire Vitiate ruled over.

Maledictus' original plan was to just let Korriban remain abandoned, it was a very unhappy place, and it held particularly bad memories for the Grand Emperor. But, nevertheless, this pull had to be investigated. "Savage," he said, calling the Templar leader. "My lord?" Savage asked. "Assemble a team of warriors. I feel a pull emanating from Korriban, it must be investigated," Malidictus ordered as the Zabrak bowed, "Yes my lord," he said and then left to do what was asked of him.

Malidictus thought back to when he was on Korriban, it was such a dark planet, devoid of happiness or anything like that, and it was known for weakening light side users, but empowering dark side users, which meant that whilst he and his warriors would be there, they'd be a bit more volatile than normal with the power influx, which meant they'd have to be careful. Still, this, pull was nonetheless strange. It felt, familiar, like he'd felt it once and once before, yet was a new sensation, almost like a dormant being frozen in time, much like he was.

Either way, they'd soon find out as Savage appeared with the warriors he'd requested, they desperately needed an imperial army because he couldn't keep pulling the warriors away for every single mission he went on. "My warriors," Malidictus said as he stood up, "Today, we investigate a pull in the force. The dark side has revealed to me that this pull is coming from our ancestral home world. Korriban. A cursed place, but still our ancestors home, so we will be respectful, and not let the volatilities of the dark side that infests that planet get the better of us. Am I understood?" He asked and all the cloaked beings nodded.

Heading to the ship, the warriors made sure their lightsabres were ready to go in case they expected any form of combat, whilst Malidictus was still hyper focused on the pull that he'd felt. He couldn't shake the feeling that this pull had been something he'd felt before, but he couldn't place it whatsoever.

The Hyperspace journey wasn't long, and soon, they arrived in the planetary airspace of Korriban, the ancient Sith homeworld. Interestingly, despite being a pure-blood Sith, Malidictus hated Korriban, and was probably the only Pure-blood Sith to actually deviate from the original Sith teachings. "My lord, what do we do now?" Asked one of the warriors. Thinking for a second, the Grand Emperor soon answered, "We land. Focus your minds, and locate the source of the pull. But be aware my warriors, that many creatures on Korriban are the result of Sith alchemy, thus they are incredibly aggressive and violent," he warned as the Templar Warriors nodded and they landed the ship in the valley of the Sith. "Stay behind me, I'll lead the way," Malidictus ordered as they all walked towards the ruins at the other end of the Valley whilst being on guard and not letting the sudden power influx change them.

Once they entered the ruins, the familiar scent of death, anger, fear, and passion filled their nostrils. It was intoxicating to the say the least, and Malidictus for one felt like he was going dizzy. The pull seemed to be emanating from the other end of the ruins, and only got stronger as they approached. "Be on guard, the source of the pull is close now," Malidictus whispered as they all swiftly, expertly, and sneakily jumped and ran from one wall to another. After turning a corner, Malidictus' head soon began throbbing as his mind was flooded with images of a Sith genocide. He heard the screams echo through the ruins, he saw the blood stain the walls, it physically hurt him to see and hear such horrific acts. "My lord!" One of the warriors rushed over and helped up his emperor.
