Coruscant:

The Sith ship of Darth Malidictus landed at the Jedi temple, and every single Jedi, whether it be a youngling, acolyte, Padawan, Knight, or even a master, could feel the dark side coiled around the Grand Emperor and his Templar warriors like a snake wrapped around a tree trunk. It pained a lot of the Jedi, but they tried to act like it didn't bother them, even though it clearly did.

Outside the temple, Malidictus wore an expression of concern, but also slight anger, as Grand Master Yoda came out to meet him and his entourage. "Grand Emperor," he said. "Grand Master. First things first, you have my condolences for the lives lost in the bombing," he said with a bow of respect. "And your Clones lives, I am sorry for as well," Yoda said and bowed in return, the pair had mutual respect for one another. The whole reason why Malidictus was here was because of the fact that he had sent a few of his imperial clone troopers to the Jedi Temple to promote good relations, but that had all gone up in smoke when the bombing happened, and his imperial clone troopers, were killed.

"Because of the fact that my clone troopers were killed here, that means that we are now involved in this. Tell me Grand Master, who do you have leading the investigation?" Malidictus asked calmly. "Master Skywalker, and his Padawan, we have sent to investigate this," Yoda answered. "I would like to send my own Templar Warrior, Darth Dren to assist them in this investigation. We can decide what happens with the bomber, later," he said as Yoda nodded in agreement. "It shall be done my lord. Where are they?" Dren asked. "The hanger, where the bombing happened," Yoda said as Dren nodded and headed off. "Grand Master, unfortunately as we are involved in this, we will have to stay on Coruscant until this is sorted. Am I correct?" Malidictus asked. "Correct, you are. Stay at the temple, you shall," Yoda said with a bow of respect as he led Malidictus, and his three other companions, Darth Jonus, Darth Gunnar, and 77, to their living accommodations.

Entering the hanger, Dren looked around and heard a familiar voice. "Okay Russo, you and Ahsoka should begin the interviews," Anakin said. Dren grinned and walked over, only for Ahsoka to see him. "Dren!" She said, running up to him and hugging him but eventually letting go as she controlled herself. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "Yeah, I'd like to know that as well," Anakin glared. "Imperial clone troopers were killed here. That gives Malidictus cause to be involved. He and the Sith representatives will be staying here until the bomber is caught, we would like to see the person responsible punished. Besides, because our clone troopers were killed, that also gives us the right to be involved, so Malidictus sent me to assist you two with the investigation. Yoda already agreed to it," Dren said rather smugly.

Anakin was about to disagree or protest, but then realised he couldn't as there was no reason why they couldn't be involved, after all, their clone troopers had been indeed killed, thus giving them grounds to get involved. "Fine," Anakin begrudgingly stated. The droid then spoke up, "As I was saying, I would rather interview the witnesses alone," he said, making the three look at each other. "Why?" Ahsoka asked. "Many of the injured have heard rumours that a Jedi was behind this explosion. There will be, ill will towards you," Russo, the droid, said.

"I think your exaggerating Russo. There were Jedi killed in that blast, along with maintenance crew and clones," Anakin said. "Take both Ahsoka and Dren with you. Let me know if you find anything," he said. "I will master," Ahsoka said as she, Russo and Dren left.

In the hospital, the three had begun their interviews. "Did you notice anything unusual about the hangar?" Ahsoka asked, with Dren standing next to her. "Not really. Although I left the hangar five minutes before the bomb exploded," he said. "Did everything seem okay before that?" Dren asked. "Everything seemed normal. Is it true a Jedi might be responsible for the attack?" He asked. "We're not certain of anything at this point," Ahsoka said. "Doesn't help that the Sith empire is here seeking answers, but that's how we operate, as one. Unity is our greatest link, and for this to happen, you can bet your ass the Empire wants answers. Bane was in half a mind to come down here himself, had Malidictus not calmed him down, he most certainly would've," Dren said.
