1 year later:

It had been over a year since Malidictus woke up, and since then, he has returned to Dathomir, recruited Maul as his apprentice, and had been slowly building his empire that would follow HIS vision of what the Sith should be, as well as building up a large fleet, which would be necessary to defend the empire, as well as expanding it. The empire now stood strong, and whilst it was still small compared to it's predecessor, it had over twenty plants, and ten systems under its rule, and the fleet stood like sentinels above every single one.

Whilst on Dathomir, the new capital planet of the Sith empire, a majestic, tall, large, powerful temple had been constructed to house force sensitive younglings who wished to be taught in the dark side, and had been offered by their families. One key difference that split the Sith empire apart from the Jedi order, was that younglings in the empire, were encouraged to see their families and indulge in personal hobbies, as the stronger the passion, the stronger the dark side is within them.

Darth Maul had become the very first student at this temple, and was the personal apprentice of the Grand Emperor himself, Darth Malidictus. Not only that, but he had also been made the Emperor's right hand, his most trusted advisor, apart from one other being. Maul had exceeded in his training, and had become the second most powerful Sith next to the emperor, and was fierce in his loyalty to both the empire, and Malidictus, who had taken a different approach when training Maul, and rather than torturing him, had rather assisted him in learning, helping him perfect what needed to be perfected, and honing his already sharp skills.

Malidictus himself stood as the Grand Emperor, the highest position of the entire Sith empire and the temple, and unlike Vitiate, he ruled through respect, not fear, and thanks to Talzin, the nightbrothers and nightsisters had even become citizens of the empire and worked closely with the temple. Both Malidictus' and Talzin's relationship had only grown deeper and stronger over the year, as more and more younglings who hadn't been taken by the Jedi, swarmed to Dathomir, being trained into the next generation of Sith.

As for the empire as a whole, it was still very young, but it was prospering, and stability was at the highest it could be. Everyone respected the Grand Emperor's laws, rules, teachings, and wisdom. He had even gone so far as to establish an order that he had been a part of during the first Sith empire "The Templar Warriors", which Maul's brother, Savage Opress was a member of. The Templar Warriors were the equivalent to Jedi Knights, except that there was one Templar Warrior who stood above the rest and acted as an extension ruler, who answered directly to Malidictus.

All in all, Malidictus' plan was coming together, and the empire was growing at a steady pace. Having Maul as his right hand, his brother Savage being the leader of the Templar Warriors, and having hundreds of younglings currently studying to become the next generation of Sith, aka, Templar Warriors, it put a smile on his face, something that his lover noticed as they stood atop the balcony of their room, which as the tallest peak of the temple.

"My darling, you should rest soon," Talzin said with her calming echo as Malidictus stared out over the temple and the hundreds of younglings, nightsisters, and nightbrothers interacting and mingling. "How can an emperor sleep when his empire is growing my love?" Malidictus asked as he snaked his arm around Talzin's waist.

"Because my love, the empire needs a healthy ruler, and being sleep deprived will impact your health," she smiled. "I slept for over three thousand years, I think I'm all caught up for now," Malidictus smiled. Talzin shook her head as her lover soon joined her in the warm and comfortable bed with his arm draped protectively around her. "You have truly done well my dear. The empire is growing, the temple is flourishing, Savage is leading the Templar Warriors, and Maul is your right hand and greatest student," Talzin commented as they Lay together, happy and content.
