Coruscant:

After the horrific bombing, and the capture of Letta Turmond, Master Yoda was giving a speech in honour of the fallen Jedi. To everyone's surprise, bar Ahsoka and Yoda, the Sith empire even offered to attend out of respect, with Malidictus being humble and standing with the rest of the Jedi instead of acting like the Grand Emperor he was. "One with the force, they are. And our job it is, remember them, but in time, pass on we must. Luminous beings are we, but temporary vessels, our bodies are. And we shall all find ourselves here in time. A moment of silence I ask, to remember and to move on," Yoda finished as the room stayed quiet, with Malidictus and his Sith Entourage keeping their dark side presence to an all-time low out of respect, and whilst it didn't leave them, it allowed the light to outshine them, it was a sad occasion, thus Malidictus thought it was necessary, although he kept glaring at Palpatine throughout the ceremony to make sure the hidden false Sith didn't try anything.

It pained him to not be able to attack and kill the false Sith right there and then, but in time, Sidious would eventually have his plans botched, Malidictus made sure of this. Whilst he was paying attention, his mind was already coming up with plans for what to do for the future when Sidious publicly revealed himself. It's not like Malidictus could say anything, because it would like mighty suspicious and aggressive to openly claim that the chancellor was the Sith lord everyone had been looking for, not mention no one would believe him, nor could he conduct a private operation without consequences coming from both sides. So for now, he just had to plan, and wait.

After the ceremony, Malidictus and his Sith, except Dren, went to see Yoda and give their personal condolences, whereas Dren walked with Ahsoka, Barris, Anakin, and Tarkin, who he hated right from the moment he'd laid eyes on him. "So what happens to Letta now?" Ahsoka asked. "The bomber has been moved," Tarkin responded. "Moved? Where? Why has she been moved?" Ahsoka asked.

"The Republic military has taken her into custody," Tarkin explained. "But why? This is a Jedi matter, isn't it?" She asked. "Clones were killed, which makes this terrorist attack a military matter," Tarkin stubbornly responded. "As were imperial clones. Hence why the Sith empire is here," Dren added.

"I still don't see why your empire gets involved in this. You should have stayed out of this," Tarkin grumbled. "Listen, you have something to say about the empire, take it up with Malidictus. I'm sure he'd love to know that a whiny bitch boy is critiquing HIS choices, that concern, HIS empire. Admiral be damned, I don't care what position you're in long nose, you disrespect my empire? You disrespect me and many others here. So keep your trap shut," Dren snarled. "A child's temper tantrum," Tarkin smirked. "Oh yeah? How's this for a child?" He asked shocking Tarkin with force lightning, making the admiral jump. "Alright you two, enough of this," Anakin firmly said even though Dren glared at both of them.

Ahsoka, who had been attempting to suppress a laugh at her boyfriends incredible burn, turned the topic back to what it was originally. "So how does this concern the Military?" She asked. "An attack on the Jedi is an attack on the senate," Tarkin said, glaring at the smug Darth Dren. "Admiral Tarkin is right. Letta isn't a Jedi. It's not for us to be judge and jury over a citizen of the Republic," Anakin chimed in.

"If Letta's guilty, she's guilty, and she should be dealt with," Ahsoka affirmed. "I agree with Ahsoka. Guilty is guilty. Carry out the sentence and then it's done and over," Dren snorted. "Calm down Ahsoka. Remember, revenge is not the Jedi way, it may be the Sith way but still, she's being tried by the Republic, not the empire," Anakin said to the pair.

"The evidence is very clear Ahsoka. Nothing will ever change," Barriss spoke up. "The Chancellor feels very strongly that the Jedi be removed from as many military matters as possible. You yourselves said that your peacekeepers, not soldiers," he said before leaving. "I bet if the Chancellor asked for a lap dance off someone, then Tarkin would be right up in there. Wouldn't suprise me if he did it just to get on the chancellor's good side. Ass kisser," Dren growled as Ahsoka, Barriss, and even Anakin laughed, with Anakin doing is best not to, but the other two just openly did so.
