Inside a Geonosian Cave:
"I have to admit Anakin, that has to be one of your most spectacular screw-ups I've ever witnessed," Obi-Wan commented. Anakin turned to his master with utter shock, "Me?! That Sith was making it sound like we were weak!" the young Jedi knight protested. Obi-Wan sighed, "Because you couldn't keep your emotions in check, we are now trapped on Geonosis, inside hostile territory. Not only do we have to worry about the Geonosians now, but also the Sith, who, after your pre-emptive attack, are now hunting us. Their fleet has blasted our Venators out of the sky, leaving only one badly crippled and barely hanging in there. The Sith Empire is not something we want to mess with," Obi-Wan continued.
Mundi then chimed in, "I agree with General Kenobi. Because of your actions Skywalker, the Republic is now at war with the Sith empire, and the volatile friction that has been between us has finally been ignited. The Republic does not have the stability, the political climate, the resources, or the manpower to fight a two front war. Our mystery Sith Lord is still out there, and the Separatists are getting more and more vicious with their attacks. To have another faction in this war that is full of Dark side users, combined with our little knowledge of them, means we are in serious trouble," the Jedi master added.
Anakin looked around, and even though he didn't want to admit it, he knew the two Jedi were right. They had managed to barely escape to a cave, along with their remaining troopers, made up of all three clone legions. "Your right master," he solemnly admitted. "Not to mention that Master Unduli is missing, along side her clones and her Padawan. If it's possible, we need to meet up with them, and escape this planet before we either get captured or killed," Obi-Wan said. Ahsoka looked down, she had nothing to say about what was going on, and for the whole reason they were hiding, was Anakin's fault? This whole battle had suddenly been flipped on it's head.
Meanwhile:
Malidictus stood atop a cliff whilst the familiar faces of Dren, Hopper, and 77 stood at his side. He looked over at the two Sith Lords with pride. His respect for Dren, having been the youngest, yet one of the strongest Templar warrior, was unmatched, and as for Hopper with his tactical mind? It granted him many victories in the days he spent training. 77 stood there with his arms crossed and his staff on his back, looking down at the clones who were gathering around. The Korriban Elite was...different than the rest. Whilst the others had independence, they still followed blind orders from Malidictus, whereas 77 was becoming more and more, human, by the day, even if his body was still robotic and metal.
"My Lord, what do we do about the hidden Jedi? We are now at war with them, surely we should kill them on sight?" Hopper asked, his brash nature showing through a little. Malidictus sighed, "Patience my Warrior. Just because we are at war does not mean we have the right to slaughter anything aimlessly. The Jedi attacked us first, and as such, they will face trial for their crimes. However, I will not allow bloodshed to stain our armour and robes if it can be avoided," he said wisely, having been able to re-form his calm demeanour after the chaos that had unfolded mere hours before. "I have also uncovered disturbing information," The Grand Emperor said as he turned and pulled up the schematics of the droid factory.
The plans showed the factory, the surrounding area, and the many many tunnels underneath it. "It seems the Droid factory has catacombs underneath it. If we attack without securing the catacombs, Poggle could escape through them. So, whilst Maul and his team penetrate the factory from the side, something they should already be doing, me and Hopper will create a frontal attack to divert fire power, whilst 77 and Dren clear secure the Catacombs. Are we clear?" He asked as they all nodded. "77," the Grand Emperor said, facing the droid, "can you memorise all 200 junctions and routes?" The droid nodded an stepped forward, taking in every detail of the catacombs, and a few minutes later, he stepped back, "Memorised my lord," he said. "Good. Now then, I have also called in the 498th Legion to assist me and Hopper with the frontal attack. Since resistance will be heavy, we have to hold the line and we cannot not break. The Templar warrior heading up this legion is called Gunnar I believe," he said as Hopper scoffed.
