Chapter 44: Utapau, Revelations, and Orders

Utapau:

Obi-Wan landed his starship and got out, immediately, he saw the familiar face of Darth Hopper waiting for him with his arms crossed. "I have to say, Kenobi, you always arrive fashionably late," Hopper grinned. "And I take it the Grand Emperor sent you here?" Obi-Wan smiled back. "Indeed. He wants Grevious dead as much as the Republic does, not to mention the skirmishes on the Sith empire's borders are a nuisance that needs to be dealt with. Once the war is over, I intend to take a break from my duties," Hopper smiled as they walked together. "And how long is that going to last?" Obi-Wan chuckled. "Five minutes, at the most," Hopper stated with a grin.

As they walked, they eventually came across the natives of the planet. "Greetings young Jedi," the elder stated. "What brings you to our remote sanctuary?" He asked. "Unfortunately the war," Obi-Wan said. "With your kind permission, I should like some fuel...and to use your city as a base as I search nearby systems for General Grevious," he said as the elder turned to some engineers and issued orders to them.

The elder then looked around and stepped forward, speaking in a hushed tone. "He is here. We are being held hostage. We have managed to hide Lord Hopper long enough," he whispered before Hopper nodded in gratefulness. "They're watching us," Hopper noted as Obi-Wan nodded. "I understand," he said. "Tenth level, thousands of battle droids," he said. "Tell your people to take shelter, use your warriors if you have them," Hopper said as they both nodded, as did the Elder.

They both then turned around and got back in their ships. "Take the fighter back to the ship. Tell Cody I've made contact," Obi-Wan said to his new droid. Hopper then set an automatic course back to the starship fleet that was circling the edge of the Utapau system undetected.

Obi-Wan and Hopper, with their hoods up, watched as their respective ships flew off. "Where's the imperial fleet?" Obi-Wan asked. "Circling the edge of the system. The plan is that when the ship gets back there, that means they all need to get ready, and when I press a button on my communicator, that's the signal for them to move in. The Imperial fleet has been ordered to assist the Republic fleet," Hopper said as they snuck off to the stables.

Climbing on board of a giant Boga, the pair sped away to go and confront the droid General. Running along the frames and many pathways, the Jedi and Templar Warrior both edged closer to their fight with Grevious.

As they got closer, they stopped and heard voices. "Safe?! Hmph! Chancellor Palpatine managed to escape your grip, General," The voice of Nute Gunray spoke up, "without Count Dooku, I have doubts about your ability to keep us safe."

Grevious then coughed and looked at Gunray. "Be thankful Viceroy, you have not found yourself in my grip," he threatened as Gunray piped down. Climbing off, the Boga, both fighters watched the exchange from high above. Taking off their cloaks, they both leapt down, with Obi-Wan dressed in a white tunic, and Hopper dressed in his stylish, black leather tunic, with his scar on the right side of his face on full show.

"Hello there," Obi-Wan said, making all the droids turn and aim their weapons at him. "General Kenobi," Grevious responded. "Abomination," Hopper hissed. "Weak Warrior," Grevious hissed back. "You two are bold indeed. Kill them," Grevious ordered as his bodyguards stepped forward and the Jedi and Sith drew their sabres before Obi-Wan promptly brought down a large vent on them, and Hopper easily slicing one's head off that had managed to somewhat escape.

As the droids readied themselves, Grevious spoke up. "Back away. I will deal with these slimes, myself," he said as he threw off his cloak. "Your move," Obi-Wan said. "You fools. I have been trained in your lightsabre arts, by Count Dooku," he said. "And look where that got him," Hopper added. Grevious then took out his sabres, and surprisingly, extended two other arms, which held lightsabres.
