Dathomir:
Malidictus was in his bed, along side his wife, with their son in his small bed, which was placed at the bottom of the couple's bed. After a long, long time away from Dathomir and his family, The Grand Emperor had dedicated his time to his family for a while, and actually tried to be a part of his son's life. The Grand Emperor couldn't help but think about what he actually had to lose now. Before, he had nothing, and that led him to being reckless, and taking risks, because he wasn't afraid of death. Now, he was nervous for the sake of his entire family. His son, his wife, his apprentice, his warriors, his empire, everything. "My darling, tell me what troubles you so?" Talzin spoke up with her familiar echoing voice. Malidictus sighed, "I fear for you my love. For our son. I am the emperor, I must not worry, or be scared, yet my love for you and our son transforms that confidence into nervousness," he admitted, as Talzin placed her hand on her husbands shirtless, muscular, red body.
"Fear for those you care about is normal my love. For if we did not fear, we would be like the droids you face. I too worry, but for you. I worry that you may not come home one night. I worry that you will be trapped like you once were," she admitted in a sad sigh as Malidictus reached around and placed a protective arm around the one he called, his wife. "My love, you have nothing to worry about. I may be powerful, but I am not foolish, nor do I let my power go to my head. The moment I returned to your arms, I swore and oath to never leave your side again, and that I would always come home to you. When Ky was born, that oath was solidified with beskar metal. Nothing would dare come between me, and those I love and care about," he assured her, lifting the night mother's chin up to face him before slowly leaning and placing a passionate kiss onto her lips, a soft one filled with nothing but pure love. The pair spent a good five minutes kissing, before breaking apart.
As they lay back down, Talzin smirked, "How long has Dren, admired, the Jedi Padawan?" she asked playfully. Malidictus grinned himself, "Since we came back from Geonosis. The boy may be a Templar Warrior, but he lacks the significant mental barriers to block me, Maul, Savage, and now you out. It's amusing to see him wander about the temple, only for his thoughts to linger on the Padawan," he said. Talzin playfully slapped his hand, "The boy is feeling what you felt for me all those years ago, and still do feel for me," she said. "That I know my dear. I am not one to deny love, but I will advise him to be careful. Many a Sith have fallen for Jedi, only for the Jedi to be brainwashed and forget their love for the Sith. It was a fairly uncommon occurrence in the empire, but still, it did pain me to see my brothers and sisters in such emotional turmoil. Something I do not wish on anyone," he said wisely as Talzin stroked his cheek with the back of her hand. "I agree with that my love. But shall we get up now? Ky is still sleeping so we have sometime together," she said as Malidictus nodded and stood up. Turning around, he noticed Talzin's eyes were looking, slightly....lower, than they should be. "Uh, darling? My eyes are up here," he commented. "I know, but the view is much more enjoyable where I'm looking," the night mother smirked back.

A few hours later, Malidictus entered the bridge of the super star destroyer and went to talk with Grand Admiral Drawk. "Admiral," he greeted. "My lord," the Admiral saluted. "May I speak with you?" Malidictus requested as Drawk nodded and they both went to look out of the window of the super star destroyer. "You know Admiral, there are times where I look at the universe and wonder how it would have turned out had the war not broken out. It can put strain on a man," Malidictus said. "I agree my lord. The mental strain is unfathomable to deal with," the Admiral nodded. "Especially in war," The Grand Emperor added, to which Drawk nodded in agreement. "As such, do you remember when I requested we go to Wild Space and see how the progress of Project 'Infernus' is coming along?" Malidictus asked. "Yes, I do my lord," Drawk answered. "You see, that was not the only thing I went out there for. By complete chance, I found something interesting, or should I say, someone interesting?" he asked with a grin as Drawk looked confused, "My lord?" he asked. Just then, the doors to the bridge opened to reveal a truly important looking being. With dark red eyes, dark blue skin, and coal-black, slicked back hair, dressed in imperial navy attire with black boots. This man, was the one and only, ruthless, tactical genius.......
