Dathomir:

It had been months since the Sith empire had decided to go quiet, and nothing had really changed. The empire was running well, the economy was flourishing, and life seemed to be passing calmly. Malidictus stood on his balcony as he overlooked the capital of his empire. He remembered the exact reason why he'd decided to go quiet, and keep the empire away from Republic affairs. Strategy.

Other than winning more battles with the Separatists, the empire had had absolutely ZERO contact with the Republic, and had all but stayed away. Looking down, he then saw a very common sight that could be seen. Ahsoka and Dren holding hands and laughing. Ever since Ahsoka had walked away from the order and joined the Sith empire, they'd been able to express their love for each other a lot more openly than they would have, should Ahsoka have remained in the order. Malidictus smiled, he knew that love in this form was at its purest and most meaningful, but at the same time, a growing. anxiety arose in his soul. Sidious' plan was getting ever more ambitious and prominent, and should it ever occur, then the Sith empire would be at risk.

As he pondered these thoughts, his communicator then lit up. Answering, he was surprised to see the figure of Yoda appear. "Grand Emperor," he said. "Grand Master Yoda. To what do I owe this suprise?" Malidictus smiled calmly. "A favour, I am calling in. The Republic, in danger it is. General Grevious, attacked the capital, he has," The Grand Master spoke calmly. "And why should my empire get involved? We promised to not get involved in Republic affairs after the whole Ahsoka incident. Many in my order, and my dark council, believe that the Republic is digging it's own grave and we should stay and protect our own," Malidictus answered in a respectful tone.

"Dark times I sense. The false dark side, writhing it is. Need your help in these times, we do. Ending soon, the war is," Yoda said in a somewhat solemn tone at the mention of the false dark side being active. Malidictus smirked silently, finally, Sidious was making his move, he was beginning to enact his final plan and bring about what he wanted. The vision Malidictus had so long ago is coming true, but now, he and his empire, would be ready. "You have my attention Master Yoda. Where do you need us?" Malidictus asked.

Coruscant:

The atmosphere over Coruscant was a literal warzone. By the time Malidictus arrived with his portion of the Sith Imperial fleet, it was hell incarnate. Separatist and Republic ships were opening fire in every which direction, buzz droids, vulture droids, Republic fighters, and escape pods were whizzing around in every single direction that was physically possible. "Well, if your a fan of chaos, this is definitely your kinda party," Hopper grinned from the deck of an imperial Star Destroyer. "Nothing wrong with a little chaos every now and then my friend. But for now, we need to make sure the Separatists don't escape with the chancellor," Malidictus stated as he pointed at the familiar streamlined ships with the Separatist crest on the side of it. As the rest of the gathered warriors looked, they all saw the Separatists smashing through the Republic lines with everything they had in an attempt to escape, but one ship that seemed to be in the middle of it all, was a familiar ship, one known to everyone throughout the galaxy. The Invisible Hand. General Grevious' flagship.

"Seems old Grevious is playing hide and act like a wimp," Gunnar smirked. Approaching the absolutely chaotic battle, Malidictus started dishing out orders. "Grand Admirals, I want fighters trained on dealing with the droid ships, and I want all fire aimed at the Separatist ships. Keep them busy and make sure their attention is on us and not the fighters! Put up the shields to maximum and make sure they hold, I want us to hold out as long as we can," he. ordered.

"Yes my lord!" Both Drawk and Thrawn shouted as the dashed away and did what they do best, command the fleet. Hopper, Malidictus, Gunnar and Jonus then made their way to the hangar. "I don't see why we can't just shoot down the Invisible Hand and then kill the chancellor along with it, or should I say, Darth Sidious?" Gunnar asked. "Because my dear Gunnar, if we did that, then we would be treated as the enemy, and lose all the influence we have built up over the last few years. Besides, we need to play his little game until we know what the full extent of his plans are. I've been on contact with Maul and had Mandalore be put on guard in case he orders a Republic invasion, of which I have a plan for that should it come to it. But we have to focus on the here and now, so Lord Hopper, you shall be accompanying the Jedi on their mission to rescue the Chancellor, meanwhile, Lord Gunnar, you will be taking a fighter squadron and drawing the attention of the Separatist droid fleet, the tactics you use are yours to decide," he said. making Gunnar grin in a smug way before running off to his fighter squadron, to which Hopper sighed, he knew that Gunnar had some form of outrageous plan cooked up for an occasion just as this. "Meanwhile, me and Lord Jonus will be staying aboard this ship and concentrating fire on the Separatist fleet to make sure they keep eyes away from you," Malidictus stated.
