Malidictus pulled himself from Maul's mind, having removed the madness and crazed emotions, restoring his sanity and allowing his brain and consciousness to function without the madness' influence. Whilst Maul slept, Malidictus used the force to disassemble, and remove Maul's primitive spider legs, leaving his torso intact and scrapping the legs themselves. Whilst making plans for Maul's new legs, his mind wanders to their destination. Dathomir. Such an isolated planet, yet it was like his second home. When he had first encountered the nightsisters, they'd seen him as a threat, and it was only after Mother Talzin had looked into his mind, which he allowed, did they somewhat lower their guard. Either way, he didn't think Talzin OR the other nightsisters would be top thrilled to see him, he did sleep for three thousand years with them not knowing anything about it, so, if there was any sort of chance they were willing to listen to him, he'd have one hell of a chance to tell them. "Kriffing great," he muttered as he paced about the hallways.
Suddenly, a groaning noise erupted from the medical bay, and that could only mean one thing. Letting a small smirk etch itself onto his face, Malidictus walked calmly into the medial bay to see Maul's eyes moving slightly before fluttering open. "Where am I?" He hissed, sounding disoriented. "You are saved my Sith brethren," Malidictus said as Maul's eyes snapped to him and he attempted to get up and strike, but fell down. To his suprise, Malidictus walked up and picked him up before sitting him down on the bed.
Maul, who normally would have lashed out by now, eyed the rather tall boy in a cautious but curious manner. "Who are you?" He snapped as Malidictus smiled and crossed his arms. "Did your previous master teach you psychometry?" Malidictus asked calmly. Maul studied him up and down before slowly nodding with a yes. "Then look into my eyes, and tell me what you see," Malidictus said as Maul did just that.
The Zabrak saw...almost everything. The freezing, the fight between him and Vitiate, the Sith empire, who he was, what his power was capable of, everything along those lines. When he broke out of it, Maul looked at Malidictus with slightly wide eyes, attempting, and somewhat poorly, trying to hide his immense shock. "You...are Darth Malidictus of the Sith empire. You were frozen for three thousand years. Emperor Vitiate was your master and you became far more powerful than him," Maul said in a low tone. "Correct my friend," Malidictus smiled a genuine smile. "You and him fought and it led to you being frozen," he added. "Correct again," Malidictus nodded.
Maul was in a state of utter shock, he'd heard tales that Vitiate had an apprentice from.....Sidious. But he never expected he'd actually MEET him. "Tell me, did Sidious ever tell you his true name? Did he ever treat you with respect? His intentions?" Malidictus asked, he knew who Sidious was, not his actual name yet but he knew he was a Sith, a false one in Malidictus' opinion. Maul looked at Malidictus, ashamed somewhat, "No. He never trusted me with such information. He, turned me into a mindless weapon," he reminisced, thinking back to when Sidious tortured him and broke him.
Malidictus placed a comforting, gloved hand on the Zabrak's shoulder, "I understand that pain. More than most. Yet, I see potential in you, potential that you don't even see in yourself," he said as Maul looked at him, confused. "You're connection with the dark side is truly a sight I have missed. Tell me, do you seek revenge on your old master?" Malidictus purred. As Maul thought, he soon noticed metal pieces flying up into the air, and began merging together, forming new, metallic legs. Watching in amazement, Maul saw the new legs align themselves with his torso, then, a searing pain erupted as the legs were attached the Maul's upper body. The pain only lasted for a few minutes, before suddenly, it stopped, and when Maul looked again, he had brand new legs attached to his body that worked just as well as his previous legs.
Thanks to this new development, Maul took a second before standing up and kneeling down on knee in front of Malidictus. "What do you wish of me, master?" He asked as he held out his hand. Malidictus smiled, "Rise, Darth Maul. My new apprentice," he calmly said as Maul stood and Malidictus handed him his old, double-sided lightsabre. "I found this attached to your spider legs. It is yours, do not lose it again my apprentice," he smiled as Maul nodded. Malidictus placed a hand on his new apprentice's shoulder, "Before we begin training, we must return you to your home. Dathomir," Malidictus said as he handed Maul an all black tunic and cloak, to which the Zabrak put on and holstered his lightsabre. "Yes master," he nodded as they both entered the cockpit and sat down, ready to face their pasts, in more than one way.
