Dathomir:
Malidictus sighed as he oversaw the clones daily marching. The future was becoming more and more unpredictable, and the trouble was that whilst he could sense trouble, it was not clear as to what exactly it was. "My love, how are you feeling?" Talzin asked as she approached her husband and placed her arms around his waist. "Troubled my darling. I have friends out there who I sense will be in danger in the future, and it pains me to know that whilst sometimes I can intervene, other times I cannot," he admitted. "You are strong my love. Your compassion is what made you this strong, and I do not wish for that to be taken from you. It is who you are," she reassured as she cupped his cheeks. Malidictus smiled, if there was one thing Talzin was good at, it was soothing his inner demons. "My love, you have no idea how much you heal me with your words," he admitted as the pair leant closer and placed a tender loving, passionate kiss on each others lips. It was true, his compassion was what set him apart from the false Sith, and the earlier Sith. "How is Ky?" Malidictus asked. "Your apprentice is currently looking after him. I sense that taking care of his half-brother is stopping his demons from surfacing. You and the empire as a whole, stop his demons from resurfacing," Talzin smiled softly.
Malidictus smiled back at his beloved, and he couldn't help but admit that being here, with her, with his family, had accelerated the process of him being a better man. Yes he was still a Sith to the end, yes he was using the dark side, but that didn't mean he couldn't change. For one, he no longer craved a war with the Republic, that much had been clear for a long time, and the second, he had stopped his game of manipulation between planets such as Naboo and Alderaan, and was now genuinely giving them honest advice, as well as seeing the leaders as close friends. All in all, it seemed his 'therapy', was coming along well, and whilst he had no problem using his darker nature, he no longer seemed to let it run free, something that no one opposed since they were all loyal to him, not because they were forced to, but because they chose to remain loyal to him, even when these massive changes had happened. It seemed to Talzin, that the moment he had stepped out of that deep sleep he had been in, he had been reforming, and had been trying to repent for his past ways under Vitiate's control. And when he had announced the empire to the senate? He was still young in his therapy, and thus, craved a bloody war, but after everything that had happened since then, he had changed massively, and for the better too.
"Still, it's amusing to see a being that is so strong with the dark side look after a child. I had a better time dealing with Star-weirds than he does when looking after Ky," Malidictus smiled. Talzin laughed a little, "You never did tell me that story," she said. "Ah, there's not much to know. I was with Vitiate on his personal ship, it broke down in deep space, and as we're fixing it, we hear these strange screams not far away. One by one, the crew starts disappearing, until it's just me and Vitiate. We eventually find, that a group of Star-weirds have surrounded the ship and are hunting us. Despite being purely created from the dark side, these beings hated all force users, especially Jedi. So, we abandon the capital ship and escape back to Korriban, leaving the capital ship behind. We couldn't fight them because they can't be killed by conventional methods, and they have the same abilities as us, so it'd be a pretty one-sided fight my dear. With us losing," he said, remembering the horrifying sight of his own decaying face when he laid his eyes on the horrific space demon.
"I'm just happy you are here with us now my love," Talzin said as she lay a kiss on his cheek. Suddenly, Maul arrived, with a very worn out looking expression, and a very happy Ky, who was looking, at least, very proud of himself. "I see Ky has been entertaining you I assume my apprentice?" Malidictus smirked. Maul grumbled and handed over the infant to Talzin, who immediately took him and began looking over him. "Changing the subject my master, what are we to do about the supposed "assassination" of senator Amidala?" Maul asked. Malidictus thought for a moment, "We wait. My visions have not been clear enough recently, but I do know that Ahsoka will be there, as will we. So, for now, we wait until an opportunity arrives for us to intervene as my visions foretold," he answered.
