Temple of the Sith, Dathomir:
Malidictus was inside his dark council room, sat at his desk and conferring with Darth Bane over the war with the separatists, as well as the possibility of moving to secure more planets for the Sith empire's future. "My friend, I must see to it that the empire stays strong and united, and forcing planets to submit will result in rebellions. Rebellions that we at this time are not equipped to deal with," Malidictus reasoned as Bane sighed. "Sometimes I wonder what has truly changed in this time. Back in my day, Rebellions were no such thing, and the people submitted, end of story," the old Sith Lord grumbled as his energy form crossed his arms. Malidictus sighed, "Not only that, but we need to move to catch the Separatists off-guard. To us, they're more of a thorn rather than a threat, and thorns have to be removed, the question is, how do we remove such a thorn?" Malidictus asked as Bane looked at him. "These separatists fight with no honour, the shame of it. If we want to remove them from the equation, we have to target their core worlds, Geonosis being one of them. We take out the droid factory, AND take down a leader of the separatists, we make our expansion easier, cripple the enemy, and leave the..... Republic......with the leftovers." Bane remarked. The Grand Emperor looked at his ancient friend, "How do you mean?" He asked.
"Simple Grand Emperor. If we have thought of striking Geonosis, then the Republic would have done the same. Ergo, they are most likely going to attack it, thus, if we strike at the same time, we complete our objective, and leave the Jedi to clean up the mess," Bane explained. Malidictus had to admit, the old Sith still knew how to work things to his advantage. Excellent.
Suddenly, a Templar Warrior came rushing into the room. "Grand Emperor!! It's....Mother Talzin! She's in labour!" He yelled. Immediately, the Grand Emperor's eyes widened and he shot up. This wasn't something that completely blindsided him, but the shock of it still hit him like a tidal wave. "Bane! Your in charge whilst I'm gone," he ordered before running out of the room.
Having ran the length of the village, and reaching his beloved's home, the Sith Lord immediately went to comfort his darling. "I'm here my dear," he whispered as he took her hand, which she practically broke.
(A/N, no way am I describing a birth. So, for the sake of being spared that, I'll skip ahead. You're welcome :))
A few hours later, and a lot of agony filled sounds coming from the Night mother, both Grand Emperor and his beloved held their newborn son in their arms. For the first time since he met Talzin, Malidictus felt happy, he felt content with his life. To him, in that moment, nothing mattered. Not the war, not the Jedi, not the expansion, not anything. Only him, Talzin, and their newborn son. "He looks like you," Talzin smiled as she lay with her lover, with a soft echo in her voice. Malidictus grinned, "That he does. But he also shares your pale skin, and your magick, I can sense it within him. He shares both the force, and magick. He takes after his mother's curiosity though," he laughed slightly as the newborn started looking around the room with curious eyes.
"I have everything I need here. Dathomir is my home, but by your side is where I truly feel comfort," Talzin said as the couple shared a passionate kiss. Two seconds later, Maul strode in with his cloak off, and looking at the pair. For a Sith Lord, he certainly had his fair share of moments where he let his guard down. "My son, come and meet your half brother," Talzin said Maul edged closer.
"What is his name?" Maul asked, clearly unsure of what to do. He was a Sith for Kriff sake! Handling children was not in his area of expertise. Both Talzin and Malidictus looked at each other, and seemed to be sharing a mental conversation before they looked at the newborn. "Kyran. His name, is Kyran, or Ky for short," Malidictus said as Ky looked at Maul. Amazingly, the little newborn reached out with two arms and babbled at the Sith apprentice, despite being mere hours old. "It seems little Ky wishes to meet his older brother," Talzin grinned. Maul, again being nervous and unsure of what to do, tentatively reached out and picked up the baby, who immediately snuggled into his chest like a younger brother. "Seems he took to you well my apprentice," Malidictus grinned as Maul still couldn't comprehend what the hell was going on. In the background, Savage was trying his best not to snicker at his brother's nervousness around the young one, for it was a true rarity to see Maul so confused and unsure of what to do. A sight worth seeing.
