Chapter 45: Decimation

Coruscant:

Malidictus felt it. He felt the false dark side writhe and shiver in pleasure. A new false Sith had arisen. Closing his eyes, he searched deep into the dark side, until he saw a poisonous new signature, a signature that felt similar, but the signature had a name.....Darth Vader.

Opening his eyes, the Grand Emperor felt it coming, the wave of violence, pain, and cruelty that was about to be inflicted. Turning on his communicator, he quickly contacted Jonus as he ran to the entrance of the Temple. "Jonus! Things got worse, a new false Sith has arisen. Guard the temple and get the younglings out of here!" He ordered. "Yes my lord!" Jonus shouted as he disconnected.

As he ran to the temple entrance, Malidictus felt a huddle of fear, all gathered in the council room. However, no sooner had he felt such a thing, then he heard them. The blaster shots being fired at an aggressive rate. The entire temple was being shot up by clones. Whatever happened, had just brought the fighting to Coruscant. Running into the council chambers, he opened the doors to see younglings huddled together. Eventually, one came out and looked at him. "What are we going to do?" He asked.

Malidictus' mind raced, he may have foreseen this coming, but that didn't mean the plan couldn't go sideways. "Listen, follow me and don't stop for anything, you understand me?" He asked as the younglings nodded and he led them out of the council chambers.

Running through the hallways and to the temple hangar, Malidictus had ignited his two sabres and sliced down a few clones that had found them. "Come on!!" He shouted to the younglings. Eventually, they made it to the hangar, with Malidictus striking down many different clones who had attempted to shoot and kill them. Climbing on board, Malidictus set the ship on an automatic course to Dathomir before returning to the children as they all got on. "The course is set for Dathomir, when you land, tell whoever finds you that Grand Emperor Malidictus sent you, and that they have to keep you safe, okay?" He asked as he stepped off. "Yes sir," one youngling said with a few tears in her eyes. "Hey, you're going to be fine. Trust me, now go, and don't touch anything in the cockpit, it's on autopilot," he said as they all nodded.

Malidictus then got off and watched the ship's door close, before flying off out of the temple, and out of the atmosphere. Breathing heavily, Malidictus then ran back to the temple entrance where he sent Jonus.

Running in, and after slaughtering clones who had ambushed him, Malidictus found Jonus killing clone after clone with no damage being seen on him. After stepping in and blasting the remaining clones with Force lightning, Malidictus and Jonus both ran to the main area as they spoke. "Order 66 and 99 have been initiated! It's time!" Malidictus said as they ran into the main area, where they found the Jedi battling, and dying, to the clones. "I agree my lord," Jonus said as the pair stood like sentinels with their sabres drawn. Turning on his communicator, Malidictus spoke very clearly into it, and didn't have a speck of hesitation in his now cold, angered voice. "Initiate, Operation Decimation," he snarled.

The Imperial clones immediately received the order and grinned under their helmets. "FOR THE EMPIRE!!!" They roared as every imperial clone, ship, tank, and gun, was turned, and trained on the Republic forces. Immediately, the Republic forces started dropping like flies under the immense fire power that was being shot at them, and up in the atmosphere, the Imperial. star destroyers were turning and firing on the Republic Venators. In a matter of minutes, pure chaos had erupted, with the imperial clones expertly and viciously slaughtering the Republic clones, the Imperial Star destroyers were brutally destroying Republic Venators, and in the skies, Imperial fighters and gunships were decimating Republic fighters and gunships.
