Jaehyun and Leehan were sitting in the library, working on their assignments. The afternoon sun streamed through the large windows, casting a warm glow over the rows of books. Jaehyun glanced at Leehan, who seemed unusually fidgety.

"Is everything okay, Leehan?" Jaehyun asked, setting down his pen.

Leehan looked up, a hesitant smile playing on his lips. "Actually, there's something I wanted to ask you. It's kind of a big favor."

Jaehyun leaned forward, curiosity piqued. "Sure, anything. What do you need?"

Leehan took a deep breath. "Hana and I are going on a date this weekend, and I want everything to be perfect. I was hoping you could help me set it up. You know, make sure everything goes smoothly."

Jaehyun felt a pang in his chest at the mention of the date, but he quickly pushed it aside. Leehan was his friend, and he wanted to support him. "Of course, I'd be happy to help. What do you have in mind?"

Leehan's eyes lit up with relief and gratitude. "Thanks, Jaehyun. I was thinking of taking her to that new art exhibit downtown. She loves art, and I want to show her that I support her interests. But I'm not great at planning these things, so any advice or assistance you can offer would be amazing."

Jaehyun forced a smile, trying to ignore the sinking feeling in his stomach. "That sounds like a great idea. We can plan out the details together and make sure everything is perfect."

They spent the next hour discussing the date, with Jaehyun suggesting ways to make it special. They talked about which exhibits to visit, where to have dinner afterward, and even small gestures that would make Hana feel appreciated. All the while, Jaehyun tried to focus on the task at hand and not on the growing ache in his heart.

As the day of the date approached, Jaehyun found himself more invested in making it perfect for Leehan and Hana. He wanted Leehan to be happy, even if it meant putting his own feelings aside.

On the morning of the date, Jaehyun and Leehan met up early to finalize the plans. They visited the art gallery to make sure everything was in order and even arranged for a small bouquet of flowers to be delivered to Hana during the dinner.

"Thanks for all your help, Jaehyun," Leehan said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Jaehyun smiled, trying to keep his emotions in check. "It's no problem, Leehan. I'm glad I could help."

As Leehan left to pick up Hana, Jaehyun watched him go, feeling a mixture of pride and sadness. He wanted Leehan to succeed, to be happy, but he couldn't deny the growing feelings he had for him. He sighed and decided to take a walk around the campus, hoping the fresh air would clear his mind.

As he strolled through the familiar paths, Jaehyun couldn't help but think about how much Leehan had come to mean to him. He admired Leehan's dedication, his kindness, and the quiet strength he showed in the face of challenges. And with each passing day, Jaehyun found it harder to ignore the feelings that had taken root in his heart.

Later that evening, Jaehyun returned to his dorm, feeling a bit more at ease. He was about to settle in for the night when he received a text from Leehan.

"Hey, Jaehyun. The date was amazing. Thank you so much for your help. Couldn't have done it without you."

Jaehyun stared at the message, a bittersweet smile forming on his lips. He replied, "I'm glad to hear it, Leehan. You deserve the best."

As he lay in bed, Jaehyun couldn't shake the conflicting emotions swirling inside him. He was happy for Leehan, genuinely so, but he couldn't deny the ache in his heart. He knew he had to find a way to deal with his feelings, to support Leehan as a friend while also taking care of his own heart.
