James

"Holy shit!" I yelled when I opened the door to find Dennis.

"Hey, man." He said before I threw myself at him. He hugged me as I did.

Adonis Kwon has been the brother I never had. I love playing hockey with him and against him. Not only is he good but he's fast. Like his sister, they have the same dark hair, eyes and bad eyesight. His hair short, undercut and the top being pulled back with some light waves. He's wearing his glasses that are similar to Callista.

Jeans, white sweater, a jacket and a bag to which he is double strapping.

The man is not only popular but a legend at the school. He proved that even people with the best looking face can be the smartest of all. He's also a legend at where I skate since his team always won thanks to him. Not to mention his best friend Rhys is no different either. Both excellent.

Dennis took me under his wing once I started to play hockey. We build a well relationship to the point that he trust me with his sister. A trust I understand and hold but no matter how much I respect him, I rather beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

"James!" Mom yelled.

"Sorry!" I yelled back in fear. "Come in." Dennis steps inside, taking off his shoes as I closed the door behind me. "When did you get here?" I asked.

"Today." He answered with a smile. "After breakfast time morning with the fam, I thought to stop by and surprised you guys." He explained.

"Is that who I think it is?" Mom asked from the kitchen as she was making dinner.

Dennis smiled, heading to the kitchen. "Oh, that smells fantastic!" He compliments.

"Dennis!" Mom smiles brightly at him.

"Hi, Mariana." Dennis chuckles as she welcomes in her hug then peck her cheek as she did his. "Still gorgeous as ever." He compliment.

"Oh, you! A flirt like your father. I swear, it were his flirting technics that got your mother all over him." Mom commented. "When did you get here? It's not Christmas."

"A surprised visit. Chilly is still here but I think he'll come by later on or tomorrow." Dennis explained.

"That's right. He hasn't visited for like a year." Mom chuckles. "I swear, Helene complain about you boys leaving. If she had it her way, neither of you would have left home."

"You need to let go for them to grow." Dennis commented.

"Try convincing her." I suggested. "Mom said she won't let me move out until I'm married."

"Eso es porque no quiero ser abuela. Quién sabe qué harás sin mí cerca para mantenerte en tu lugar." Mom lectured.

That's because I don't want to be a grandmother. Who knows what you'll do without me around to keep you in place.

I rolled my eyes.

"I actually came by to say hi and then take James to the rink to play a little one-on-one, if that's alright with you." Dennis asked my mother since he knows I would agree.

"Of course. Go have fun and when you come back, dinner will be ready. You're more than welcome to join us." Mom informs him.

"Gracias." Dennis smiles brightly despite the awful accent but at least his Spanish is sounding a little better.

We made our way back to the door to leave but that's when Rosa walked down the stairs and saw Dennis. She screamed and hugged him excitedly. Dad also comes home from work to be surprised. They chat for a while and then we're in my car heading to the rink. I have my things already in the trunk.
