Crazy Over You

"I'm just saying," mom says to Mariana, James's mom, at the kitchen table with a glass of wine at hand, "I have three gorgeous sons that still can't bring a single girl home." Mom complains which had me covering my mom to stop myself from laughing while Achilles, Adonis and Eros all turn their heads to look at mom.

"Chilly is in med. Dennis plays hockey. And Eros is a vampire," Mariana mentions with a chuckle as she has the same wine mom does. "Clearly, they're all too busy to bring a girl home. Look at my son. Attractive, has a name of a white man, dances like water, drives, and not to mention, he plays two sports and is at an appropriate age to have high school girls giving him the eyes but not once has he said "mom, I have a girlfriend"," Mariana complains which now had James glaring at his mom. "At least Drew and Milos are young so there's hope there," she adds.

"I like to think so too but because of her brothers, not even Cally has a chance of finding a nice guy," mom complains which now has me embarrassed but little does she know, in a few weeks from now, your best friend's son will be dating your daughter.

"It's not because of us," Adonis says as he makes his way to the table. He places his hands behind mom's chair and leans down to have both women looking at him. "Men are just intimidated by a woman who has male figures in her life and that can take him down if they ever hurt her. Which, by the way, means at some point he was planning on it. So, we're actually doing Cally a favour," Adonis explains as he leans down and pecks mom on the cheek. "Plus, I'm only twenty-two. Once I'm extremely famous, I'll get myself a hot model," he smiles brightly as mom tries to hit him.

Adonis backs up and laughs. "You marry for love!" Mom shouts.

"I don't know. I really do like money," I mention which had mom glaring at me as I was in the living room, playing video games with the twins on James's counsel as we're at his house today. "A sugar daddy can give me all the books I desire." I mention which had the twins laughing.

"If you want a sugar daddy, you're going to have to go after the old men that have trouble seeing," Andrew says which made me gasp and had the room laughing.

"Not to mention, you look like shriek when you wake up in the morning," Aimilios mentions.

"You dimwits!" I say as I put my controller down, not caring if I'll lose the game. My brothers were sitting right next to me. Andrew and then Aimilios, which is why, without hesitation, I move towards them and tackle them by stabbing my finger into their ribs which had them trying to fight me at the same time.

"Woah!" James says as he steps into the living room and takes a seat on the couch as my brothers and I were on the ground. I let them go and sit up to notice that James decided to sit right behind me which meant that if I were to turn my back on him and lean back, I would be placed right between his legs.

The twins are laughing and then complained how they lost the game because of me.

"That's just rude," James mentions which confused us. He looks at Aimilios, "you can't compare your sister to shriek," James lectures him. Aimilios was about to make his case but James wasn't done. "That's just an insult to shriek." He says which cause me to grab the couch pillow next to James and start hitting him with it while he laughs.

"We're never going to have grandkids, are we?" Mariana complains as he looks at the children around the house. No one is dating, no one likes anyone (for what they know) and no one is in a talking stage with anyone. No one ever brought anyone home nor even had a breakup (for what they know).

"I'll marry a prince!" Rosa, James's sister says as she's sitting between Eros and Achilles on another couch. Adonis is right behind the couch. "I have a plan!" she yells which had everyone's attention. Dad and James's dad were preparing dinner as it was their turn as last time, Mom and Mariana did it.
