"Hey, anything I can help you with?" I slightly jump at the sudden voice.

I look over to my right to see a tall man, with a lean built that reminds me of Eros except this man has a broader shoulder. He has ocean eyes, golden brown hair that's long except I don't know how long his hair is due to it being tied up into a low messy bun.

He's very attractive.

He's honestly an artist ideal muse since he's perfectly symmetrical. It would explain why he's a runaway model, figure model and a photographer model.

Lauryn Mills.

He's Chilly's roommate who Chilly invited over for Christmas after Mom has told him to do for so long. Apparently their schedules never connected so we never got to meet Lauryn until today despite them living together for years.

However, like Denny, I was surprised to see Chilly home early too. I love them both and I'm glad they're home but their timing were horrible because Chilly told me that there are things we need to talk about. All of which involved my relationship with James.

"Are you happy with him?" Chilly asked me after grinding me with the thousand of questions.

"I am." I answered honestly to which Chilly smiled, patted my head and told me that he's happy for me and will take care of Denny for me so that I don't lose James.

Yet, Denny never made it back home. Mom joked around saying how he and James were catching up but I was so worried that I couldn't focus much on dinner.

Looking at Lauryn, I was confused by what he meant until I realize that I was doing the dishes.

"Oh! Um, no. I'm good here. But thanks for offering." I smile. There wasn't many dishes to clean up anyway.

I notice him look over, feelings little awkward and I get that feeling.

"I'm not going to lie. I do need the escape." Lauryn confesses, looking slightly behind him.

Mom being her usual self asked him so many questions since she wanted to get to know him. He answered them, asked some himself but I'm assuming he's peopled out. He's like Eros and I.

"In that case, maybe you can help me dry the plates and put them where they belong?" I offer.

"Love to." He smiles.

I hand him a towel to dry the clean dishes with.

"I'm sorry for the questions Mom was asking you over dinner. She's just a curious bird." I don't know if Chilly gave him a warning of what our family is like, but so far, everyone who has met Mom fell in love with her.

Lauryn chuckles. "No, it's all good. Archie gave me all the warning when making sure I was going to be okay coming here for Christmas. And he did it again on the car ride here."

"Archie?" I laugh. "You call my brother Archie?" I asked while handing him a plate I just finished cleaning.

"Long story short, I was a barista, he was a customer. I asked for his name. I thought he was joking--" I laugh softly since this happens a lot with my brother. "--He seemed used to it that he even took out his ID to show to me that it's actually his name. I wrote it on his cup. However, one halloween, he came in dressed as Achilles." Now I laugh loudly.

I remember, Chilly lost a bet against Denny and so he had to dressed up as the Greek Hero.

"Yeah." Lauryn laughs. "But he was holding a toy spear. I held back at laughing at his costume. He told me to go ahead and laugh. So, I did. But instead of writing Achilles, I wrote The Greatest Of All The Greek Warriors."
