"It's fine." Valentina assures me while I'm pacing around.

"Is it?" I question as I finally look at her.

She's over once again. She brought Eros sweater that he has forgotten at her place when he went over. I found it weird as Eros is not the type to forget his things due to not wanting to give a reason to socialize but when Mom let her in, Valentina found out that Eros is still sleeping. She left the jacket on his bed and the fact that she can go in and out of his room without much worry impresses me.

On the way out, she saw me pacing and we started to talk.

"Dennis and James friendship is strong. Dennis is not really going to kill him. Plus, Ken is with them." Valentina mentions.

"Ken?" I don't think Adonis has any friends with that name but then I remember that my brothers aren't the only ones who are back in town. "Oh, Rhys?" I correct.

"The guy is an expensive Ken doll look-a-like. God, he's dreamy." Valentina gushes over my brother's best friend. "I made friends with the wrong brother." I couldn't help but laugh. It did start to calm down from the situation. "Don't get me wrong, Eros is alright but Adonis? My god. I know siblings in friendship are off limits but Rhys is Adonis friends and you're Adonis sister which means you may know if Rhys is single and maybe into--"

"Into you?" Valentina and I both jump at the sudden question due to the voice being deep and out of nowhere.

I look over and notice Eros in nothing but sweatpants, however, he was holding a sweater which I believe is the one Valentina brought back. My brother puts on the sweater as it is a little chilly.

"Okay, first," Valentina raise her index finger, "buenos dia." Eros groan in response. "Second, what is wrong with me?" She looks ready to sass him. Even her accent is showing but Eros just drops on the singular couch.

"You're too loud." Eros mentions. "The only time a man likes when their women are loud is in the bedroom. You might as well just be my alarm clock."

Valentina stands up. Eros fully wakes up right there and then. Eros runs and Valentina chases with murder in mind.

Déjà-vu.

I check my phone and send James another message asking him if he's still alive.

Last night, I was able to sneak him out but this morning I found out that Adonis and James are going to the ice ring together with Rhys who's back in town with his sister for Christmas with their family. Adonis promised to not kill him but that doesn't mean he's not going to hurt him.

I know they're going to play hockey but that's how Adonis let off some steam. Well, my brother also does it by going to the gym or in the boxing ring.

Please, let them be okay...

Valentina comes back while mumbling Spanish words.

"You're Spanish." I recall.

"Yes, you just noticed? After all these years?" Valentina place her hands on her heart and pretended she was truck by an arrow.

"No, it just reminded me... Hey, what does conrazon mio mean?" I couldn't have sounded to bad, right? I mean, in my head, it's perfect but by her reaction, it's not.

"Conrazon?" Valentina questions. "Oh! Conrazón mio."

"Yes, that! What kind of insult is it? And what would be a good response to say back?" I ask as I should take this time to get back at James.

"It's not an insult, more like... Flattery? I guess it just depends on how you put it in the sentence." She shrugs.

"What do you mean?"
