I knew I messed up but once I dump my head into cold water to wake me up. I went on a search for Callista. To apologize and allow her to express her anger out on me however she pleases except that she was nowhere around the house. I asked around but no-one saw her. I texted her, even called but nothing.

I continue to search until I came to the realization that Elio was also no where around.

Fear filled me.

All I could think was how Elio and Emma kissed. The betrayal was there and it was deep even though the feelings weren't real. But Callista... My feelings for her are real but if... If she and Elio...

God no. I went outside after Koshi's parents told them they saw Callista step outside and go to the car.

I didn't think of that. I rushed to where I parked, hoping to find her inside reading.

But no. She was no where. I looked around, some kids around but not many since it's getting pretty late.

I tried her number several times.

She did send me a message she went trick or treating.

I ran and ran. Looking around, Trying to find her. Trying her number and sending multiple text. At this point, I am contemplating on calling Eros and telling him what happened so he can help me find her.

Around the corner, I tried calling her again and finally, finally, she answered.

"Callista!" I yelled, mostly in relief but also in anger. Taking the corner, I found her outside of 7eleven. She's standing, looking fine, no danger, nothing.

"I know. I know. I'm sorry." She knew she messed up. I can tell by the tone of her voice. Even as she runs a hand through her hair, I can see that she's also freaking out. "I got distracted. I didn't feel my phone vibrate and--" I hung up since I was running to her.

"You idiot." She turn and see me. I didn't care how angry I was or how worried or how much I hated myself. All I cared about was that she was safe and sound so I hugged her. I called her a dumbass, an idiot, stupid, everything since how could she not answer her phone and just leave without telling me?

"You're safe..." I whispered, claiming down since she's in my arms.

But I needed to make sure of it so I pull back and checked her head from tow. physically she's fine but emotionally...? Her eyes of red.

"You cried?" I asked, caressing her. I opened my mouth to apologize until I caught Elio stepping out of 7eleven. He's holding two plastic bags. He looked between us, immediately feeling uncomfortable.

But as my fears came into a reality, she was with him.

"You were with him...?" I asked, looking at her. Needing her to confirm or even lie to me. I don't care, I'll believe it.

"Like I said." She took a step away from me. "I went trick and treating." Repeating the message she sent me.

I took a deep breath. I need to control myself. I can't blame her or him. This is my fault.

I look over at Elio who awkwardly handed Callista a plastic back.

"Thanks for keeping an eye on my girlfriend, but I'll take it from here." I told him. He doesn't say anything, just lower his head in a nod. "Come with me." I take her hand and lead her down the road, away from him and everyone else.

"Your car is the other way." Callista reminded me, letting me drag her.

"We're taking the long rout." And excuse.
