XXIX: Glaciator

Hello! Sorry for the late update, I had to add some finishing touches and edits. and I was going to do everything last Monday but I was stuck at the Airport from 2AM-9Am. So I was unable to finish it as I fell asleep as soon as I made it home. I apologize and I hope you enjoy this weeks Chap 1.

(Lumier Pov)

Lb, Cat and I chased the same bus for five minutes. I was working on crown control. Making light walls that stopped cars from crashing into the bus. "Can't you stop it," Cat asked me as I landed on the bus beside them. "Unless it slows down, it's not safe. Unless you want a bus pancake." I told him, and he looked down. "Okay, we'll slow down the bus; you make sure no one gets hurt." I nodded at Lb's plan, and she turned to Cat.

"Ready, Cat Noir?" "I'm always ready, my lady. Who needs brakes when they've got us?" Cat said as he threw his staff at Lb, who caught it, and she jumped off the bus. As the bus passed, she threw the staff back to Cat, who threw it as it extended, getting caught between two lampposts.

I stayed on the bus as all this happened. But then I noticed three civilians, including a mother and her son. I jumped off the bus, landing a few feet before the people. "Light Wall!" I commanded, making a barrier between the incoming bus and us.

Luckily, the bus only taped on my barrier, and the two adults behind me fell from the scare. I turned off the wall and helped them up.

I walked over to the now-stopped bus and saw how LB and Cat Noir had begun to help the passengers off the bus.

"So, uh, Ladybug? What would you say if you and I met up tonight for a little dinner? Rooftop style?" My mouth dropped at his sudden question.

"For dinner? As superheroes? Is Lumier/Shadow also coming?"

"Well, uh, yeah. That's right, except for the third wheel. We're only together when we're saving Paris. I mean, wouldn't you actually like to get to know one another?" "Rude I mumbled from behind LB as I crossed my arms. Cat gave me an apologetic look before Lb could speak.

"I... That's so thoughtful of you, but I can't. I have to, uh, I already have plans with some friends." Lb told Cat before the bus driver stepped off the bus. Shaking all of our hands.

"Thank you. Thank you, Ladybug. Thank you, Lumier." with that, he left. "Well, if your plans end early, come and join me." "We'll see," LB told Cat before swinging away. "I'll be waiting, my lady," Cat said dreamily, to which I hit him in the head.

"Call me a third wheel again; you'll have to find your own way home," I told him before leaving for home.

As we made it home and changed back, I got an engaging text from the Kitty section group chat. As I read through the text messages, I turned to Adrien. "So Luka's asking us if we wanna go for ice cream?" I asked him, and he gave me a look. "I would, but Nino already asked, and I'm going to see if Ladybug will show up." I rolled my eyes. "Fine, just remember you said you'd hang out with Luka and Jules. And Anarka wants to see you play. We'll leave after dinner then." I told him, but he spoke before I could leave his room. "Remember how you said you owed me one." He reminded me. I sighed. "I remember.

"There's no point in waiting for your father and children. He'll be eating in his office." Natalie told us, and I could see Adrein getting mad. "Then what's the point of keeping us here if he's never gonna show up, Nathalie?" Adrien stood up while speaking. He quickly left, and I followed. I followed him as he entered his room. "Don't forget to practice your instruments before you go to bed," Natalie called out before I closed the door.
