My phone buzzes one afternoon.
Katie: My place at 8:30 in 2 weeks?
Katie: Typing..
Katie: It's a bit of a wait. Sorry. I don't want him to be suspicious.
Me: 8:30 is fine. You have anything in mind? Anything new you want to try?
She types, then stops, and there's nothing from her for a couple of minutes. Then she finally responds.
Katie: We could do it on my couch this time. Maybe watch a movie.
Me: What is this? Are we moving on to having dates now?
Katie: It was just a suggestion. I'll see you soon.
I shut my phone off.
