Lizzie Young has been in love with Hugh Biggs, her (now ex) best friends' brother, since she laid eyes on him.
The only thing that kept them away from eachother is Katie Wilmot - His girlfriend.
She's the tiny little redhead under his arm.
Lizzie's...
I touched a piano today. I had been with Feely, at his house. Sometimes we do homework together and I leave when it's time. Recently, I haven't been doing that. The last time I went to his house to study was before all of the Siren stuff.
(And, yes, I have decided on that being her code name in my diary. She's too beautiful to be called as toxic as a Viper, so therefore she is a Siren. A really entrancing one.)
Back to the piano. Yes. I hadn't played piano in.. years, I would say. When I sat on that comfy stool and saw the keys infront of me, I almost didn't know what to do. I forgot how to play the instrument. How bizarre - How we can forget how to do something after years of learning it. Like long division...
I reached my hands out to the foreign keys and did a really shitty warm up. Well, it wasn't that shitty. I just pressed A sharp and was surprised when the note sang harshly into the air. Feely even winced softly, then went back to tuning his guitar.
Then, my mind seemed to go into a haze. I warmed up. I did a true warm up. I did my favorite scales - C major and E major. Feely gave me a soft smile after my warm up. A casual smile. It made me feel better than any other too-wide smile that has been flashed my way.
We ended up playing music together. No singing. I just followed his lead. A strum earned a note or two from me. So on and so forth.
It sounds like we did something really intimate as I write it on paper. I swear it wasn't like that. Feely has his own life. We just share a love for music.
I don't want to imagine being with him. He is still a good guy, just not my girl.
