CHAPTER 35: 𓆩⟡𓆪

Girls can never be trusted. Especially if they act like the sun and have a boyfriend.

There's about 5 mini blood stains across my floor and bedsheets, yet there's 4 new scars along my thighs.

I cried, I cut, I got angry, I cried again, and then the cycle repeated until I fell asleep last night.

I've been absent all week. I got Shannon's messages as the days passed - Kav's girlfriend is the most anxious person I know.

My mom started getting down on me for missing so many classes, so I guess I'm gonna make an appearance today.

I don't know how I snuck into the stadium Tommen is playing at, but I did.

Out of uniform, too.

Instead I wear a grey longsleeve, shorts that hug my thighs way too much to be school appropriate, striped (black and grey) leggings, and black boots. I completed the look with mascara and pencil eyeliner on my waterline.

I walk casually through the stadium, watching our players out on the field. I catch Shannon in the corner of my eye, chewing on her nails as she watches Johnny get tackled.

She's so focused on the game she doesn't notice me saunter towards her and put my arm over her shoulder. When she does, she gasps and then turns relieved.

"Lizzie! Where have you been? How'd you even get in here?" She says as she hugs me.

"I've been at home, where else?" I responded. "And I snuck in by showing our principal my tits. Duh."

"Lizzie! Are you serious?" She whispers as she pulls away from me, looking around before giving me an incredulous look.

"No. Geez, am I that believable?" I chuckle, ruffling her hair. "Though I am wearing a push up bra. That's bound to reward me tonight." I say, turning away and going to put my bag down on the floor next to Shannon's belongings.

"Oh god. Hey, are you still with.."

"No."

I turn back around, begging her with my eyes: I don't want to talk about this right now. Please.

I can see the concern etched on her face but she nods. She follows after me, putting her bag on her chair, but I catch her eyes drifting to my arms and legs.

"Uhm, Claire is in the bathroom with Katie. We're allowed to go to the concession stand during any point of the game, if you wanna go." She suggests.

"Yeah, sure. I could eat."
