Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
The group walked closer where they ended up at a fence which Glenn opened with hesitation and went inside and Abraham held Sophie close to him because he didn't know what was waiting for her inside. When they came in they saw a few people and also stalls. For example, at one stand they were grilling, while somewhere else there was one with a grater. A woman who was at the barbecue stand noticed her and turned around before walking towards the group.
Now:
"I'm Marry" came from the woman as she looked at the group with a smile after looking at the group. "It looks like you've been away for a long time," came the woman, who turned out to be Marry, in a calm but friendly tone. The group looked at the woman at first but no one said anything until Maggie spoke up and the woman confirmed that they had been on the road for a long time. The woman continued to smile at the group before saying something again. "First come closer and we'll make you something to eat, welcome to Terminus," she said smiling and both gently and calmly and at the same time in a friendly tone of marry as she welcomed the group to Terminus. So Marry went to her stand where she had previously grilled and turned the meat over and the group followed her. Sophie went a little closer and saw how Marry was doing the meat. Sophie could hardly look over with her small body, but Sophie looked curiously at what Marry was doing. "I bet you're hungry from the long journey," it came softly and in a rather child-friendly tone while Married was preparing the meat, but every now and then she looked briefly at Sophie and then at the others. "Oh yes," Sophie said while looking at Marriage, who then laughed slightly and then gave Sophie the first plate, and then she gave something to the others too. Everyone ate something while Abraham talked to Marry about Terminus because he didn't trust the whole thing. Let strangers in, give them food and do that without ifs and buts?
A little later a man came to marry a few people who were still standing by the grill. "This is Rick, Michonne, Daryl and the boy is Carl" the introduced the people who nodded while Carl looked around a little suspiciously. Carl suddenly noticed as he looked around that a man was wearing Maggie's poncho that Daryl gave her. "Dad" came quietly from Carl who was standing next to Rick who immediately looked at Carl who looked in the direction of the man whereupon Rick also looked in the direction of the man and noticed that he was wearing the poncho that Daryl gave to Maggie. Afterwards, Rick looked around more and noticed that a man had Glenn's backpack. Someone else had Sophie's backpack and something from Abraham, which Rick didn't know because he didn't know Abraham, Rosita and Sophie at the time. Rick continued to look around and it became more and more clear to him that something was very wrong here. The man who took her to marry gave Carl a plate of food and also Michonne as the two stood at the front while Rick continued to look around. As the man took the next plate and handed it to the group, Rick suddenly went forward when he saw something on his pants that obviously didn't belong to him and grabbed him by the neck while jerk held a pistol to his head, whereupon Daryl immediately pulled out his crossbow and aimed at marry. Carl then took out his pistol and a few people from Terminus drew their weapons but some just stood there and Michonne then pulled out her katana."You freaks!" It suddenly came from the man while Rick held a gun to his head. While he had Gareth under control, Rick reached into Gareth's pocket and pulled out what he had seen before. It was a pocket watch from Glenn that Herschel had once given him. “Where the hell did you get those?” It came in a threatening tone as Rick looked at the man as he continued to hold the gun to his head while the man put his hands up. There was a moment of silence in which no one saw anything and Rick continued to look around but his grip and movement did not change until suddenly the man answered Rick's question and thus broke the silence.
"You want to answer and more?
If you put your weapons down you will get answers!" The man said nervously while he still had his hands up. "I see a sniper on the roof, but how good is he really? Now finally tell me where you got the watch from," Rick continued to say in a threatening tone while Rick changed his position so that the man was directly in the sniper's field of fire.
"Stay cool up there, I've got it under control, put the gun down, come on, put it down!" Came loudly but nervously from the man as he looked at the sniper, who then immediately lowered the weapon, whereupon the man turned to Rick, Daryl, Michonne and Carl. "Now listen to me, there are a lot of people here," the man continued, still in a nervous tone. “Where did you get this watch from,” Rick said in a louder tone as he repeated himself again. "I got these from a dead guy, he doesn't need them anymore," Gareth said nervously again. "Mhm," Rick said angrily as he nodded and then turned the man. "What about the protective gear, the poncho?!" Rick got angry when he turned the man in the direction where a man was wearing Glenn's protective gear that he gave to Eugene, but Rick doesn't know and thinks it's still Glenn's and next to him was the person with Maggie's poncho that Daryl gave her.
"The protective equipment is from a totem cop," came Gareth suddenly, whereupon Rick quickly turned around while still holding the gun to the man's head while he had him in a grip around his neck. A few seconds later Gareth continued."The poncho was hanging on a clothesline," Gareth continued in a rather calm tone as he looked at Rick, who was also looking at him.
"Gareth, we can wait," came the man nervously as he looked at Gareth, who interrupted him immediately. "Shut up, Alex," came the answer from Gareth while he looked at the man, who turned out to be Alex. "You're talking "With me," Rick said in a threatening tone as he interrupted Gareth while Rick looked at him, whereupon Gareth then nodded before speaking again. "What's left to say? You don't trust us anymore, if you did at all," he said in a still calm but also arrogant tone as he continued to look at Rick. "Gareth.." Alex said nervously and you could hear the fear in his voice when he said Gareth's name. "Shut up, it's okay," came Gareth again as he said again that Alex should be quiet and tried to calm him down while he held up a hand as a sign that Alex should be quiet, whereupon Alex actually kept his mouth shut and was quiet before Gareth spoke up again. "What do you want to know, Rick?" Gareth was still quiet as he looked back at Rick and waited for an answer. "Where are our people?" Rick immediately said it, still threatening, while he looked at Gareth. "You didn't answer the question," Gareth replied in the same calm tone as before while he continued to look at Rick. Ricl suddenly turned around so he was standing before Gareth came along, whereupon suddenly shots were fired and Carl and Rick returned fire and suddenly Carl told him to take cover immediately. Rick ran to the exit with Carl followed by Michonne and Daryl, whereupon someone standing by the roof blocked their path by shooting right in front of their feet.
"Get out of here!" Came loudly from Rick, whereupon the group turned around and now Daryl followed, who was now at the front as the group turned around while they continued to be shot at, but Carl and Rick shot back with more Rick shooting and Carl mostly just aiming. They just walked into a hall and it was the hall where they saw Gareth for the first time. Just as they were inside and wanted to walk through, the exit, which was a roller shutter, was closed. Daryl saw a barred door and ran to it but it was also locked and wouldn't open. "There!" It came from Carl when he pointed to a black door next to the roller shutter, whereupon the group ran over, Michonne opened the door and the group went outside again. The group kept running once they were outside while they continued to be shot at until they arrived at a container where people were shouting "help" but Rick told them to keep running so they ran until they reached a room filled with candles. "What the hell is this?" It came from Daryl as he lowered his crossbow and there were all the candles that filled the room. "I don't think these people want to kill us," said Michonne, who looked around, whereupon Carl and Rick also looked around. Rick suddenly saw something written on the wall as he looked around. "Never again, don't trust, us first, forever," Rick then read what was written on the walls before saying something again. "No, they were aiming for the feet," Rick explained thoughtfully while the group continued to look around. "There!" It suddenly came from Michonne when she saw an exit whereupon the group ran straight to it but the door was locked but Daryl found another door whereupon the group quickly ran outside through this door where they were shot at again. They continued running until they reached the tracks that were right next to the exit, but the group suddenly stopped when they noticed that there were people with weapons in the bushes too. There was a moment of silence where the group just stood there. Rick looked at Carl who was standing there out of breath but Rick saw the fear on his son's face. Daryl and Mochonne noticed Rick's look and followed him when suddenly one of the snipers spoke up. “Drop your weapons” came the loud voice from Gareth, who was standing in front of the roof while one of the snipers who were on the roof was aiming at the group, even though they were actually aiming at the group. “Immediately!” He continued when he saw that none of them were moving. Rick dropped his revolver first, whereupon Daryl laid his crossbow and his knife on the ground, then Carl put down his weapon and Mochonne put down her katana. When Gareth saw that they had put their weapons on the ground, he spoke up again."Leader, over to the left where the railway wagon is, let's go," Gareth said loudly as he watched the group closely while the group looked at the wagon. "You do what we say and the boy goes with you otherwise he will die and still end up in the walgon" Gareth now said loudly but also seriously and threateningly as he looked at Rick who looked at Gareth angrily but then briefly looked at Carl and nodded before Rick slowly walked towards the wagon. After a few seconds, Gareth spoke again. “Now the crossbow shooter,” Gareth said in the same tone, whereupon Daryl also went to the wagon after a few seconds of hesitation. Gareth then said something again after a few seconds. "Now the Samurai" came from Gareth when there was enough distance between Daryl and Michonne, whereupon Michonne went there after a few seconds and Carl was now standing there alone in fear. “Stand in front of the door, the leader first, then the crossbowman and the samurai, you stand in that order,” it came loudly and still in a threatening tone as Daryl, Rick and Michonne were now standing by the wagon. As they stood thin in line, Rick looked briefly at Carl, who was still standing in fear where the others had stood before. "My son?" Rick said loudly as he looked at Gareth, who after a few moments sent Carl off too, whereupon Carl went quickly but not too quickly. Afterwards, first Rick, Daryl, Michonne and finally Carl went into the wagon, which was then immediately closed. When the four were inside, they looked around, but it wasn't easy because the container was completely dark and very little light came in. "Rick?" It suddenly came from someone in the back of the walgon, whereupon Rick immediately turned around in surprise when he recognized the voice.
