Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
The next morning, Rosita said goodbye to Sophie, taking her time because she wanted to make sure Sophie was okay, that she had everything, and so on. Afterwards, she met up with Daryl, Yumiko, Aaron, Michael and Connie at the gate, where they all went through the plan again. So they left Alexandria to look for the guys who had hurt Sophie.
Now:
Adrian stayed the night with Sophie and slept on a chair. He woke up a few times, but when he did he checked to see if Sophie was OK or if something was wrong, but luckily nothing happened. When Adrian woke up the next day he saw that Sophie was already awake. He sat down and rubbed his eyes to wake up a bit, which he did after a moment. "Are you awake already?" Adrian asked in a confused but still normal tone as he looked at Sophie. "Of course, not everyone can sleep all day," Sophie replied, trying to sound cold, which she partially managed. "But tell me, how did you even end up here?" Sophie asked in a curious tone as she had no idea how Adrian had ended up here. "Well, I was just walking around until I heard footsteps, so I had hidden something in the bushes, but then I came out when I heard a voice and then I saw Rosita there with Daryl or whatever his name is and then Rosita picked me up, so to speak," Adrian explained honestly, whereupon Sophie nodded. "It's good that you're alive," came Sophie's mumbled but still cold reply. The two talked for a while, with Adrian being the one who talked and Sophie listening more. Some time later, Sophie's walkie-talkie made a few noises as Rosita radioed her. "Hey honey, knowing you, are you awake yet? How are you?" Rosita said in a gentle tone as she spoke into the walkie-talkie. "It's fine, my head only feels like it's about to explode, what's wrong?" Sophie's reply came coldly as she waited for Rosita's answer. "Say, do you remember what those guys looked like?" Rosita asked cautiously as Rosita knew that Sophie might not remember everything that had happened before the shot in the head, which Sophie had only just survived, well, too just. "Mh... I think... there's an Asian or Korean guy there," Sophie explained, pausing every now and then as she was thinking, but sometimes she found it difficult to remember. "Okay, thanks, any other characteristics?" Rosita continued to ask in a gentle tone. Sophie then thought for a moment longer than before before she answered. "One of them was wearing a black and red jacket, but he's dead, but I don't know what the guy who hurt me was wearing," Sophie said thoughtfully, but that was enough for Rosita. "Okay, well, thank you, honey, you're going to rest now, OK?" Rosita said in a loving but strict tone because she was just too worried about her daughter. Yes, she was glad that Sophie had just survived the shot to the head, but on the other hand, Rosita is just sick with worry. "Okay, mom, don't worry," Sophie assured her, which made Rosita even more worried because Rosita knew Sophie was the last person who would voluntarily rest, so Rosita assumed that Sophie was really bad. Rosita then hung up and put the walkie-talkie aside. Rosita then continued walking with Daryl, Michael and the others until after a few hours they heard a noise, whereupon they split up. Rosita and Daryl looked at each other, but then they nodded at each other, whereupon Daryl walked a little in one direction because there seemed to be a person there. Daryl then turned to Rosita because his strong instinct told him that this person was not the only one and he was right because just as Rosita carefully followed Daryl, Daryl saw a person appear behind Rosita so he signaled to Rosita that she should be careful. Just as Rosita was about to react, the other person got there first. The person pushed Rosita to the ground but Rosita reacted quickly and drew her knife. Rosita lightly injured the person's arm before kicking the person away, whereupon Daryl shot the person in the shoulder with the crossbow while Michael aimed at the other. Rosita stood up and kicked the man she had injured with the knife in the back of the knee, whereupon the man fell to his knees. "You damn wankers," the man then said angrily, but Rosita skillfully ignored this. Rosita pulled out her gun and aimed her gun at the man's head. "Those are the guys, definitely," Daryl said coldly as he looked at Rosita, who then agreed. "Definitely," Rosita replied. "What was that about? What is your goal?" Daryl then asked in a cold tone. "What was what about?" Asked the guy Rosita was aiming at. "What, you damn idiots have hurt a child, my daughter," Rosita said in a dangerous but also cold tone, whereupon the man laughed. "She killed one of us, is mommy mad?" The man laughed. "First of all, because your guy almost killed her and secondly, yes, I am," Aaron said in a cold tone. "Nobody attacks our people," Aaron said in a serious but also cold tone, while the others covered Daryl and Rosita's backs. "Especially no children," Yumiko added as she aimed her bow at one of the guys. "One dead person and one more walker won't attract attention anyway," the guy Rosita was aiming at laughed, but the other agreed. Rosita had had enough so she kicked the guy in the side, causing him to fall. "Remember one thing," Rosita began in a cold tone as she crouched down next to the guy. "Never mess with an Espinosa. Never, you're far from out of the woods," Rosita said coldly. "That's a mistake," Micheal said seriously. "What's your name?" Rosita asked coldly as she looked at the guy. When he didn't answer, Daryl pressed his arm against the other guy's head briefly before moving slightly away again. "I would decide quickly, either arrow or name," Daryl said with a grin, whereupon the guy swore. "I'm Aiden, this is Jung Woo," came the quiet reply from the man crouching next to Rosita. "It works," came Yumiko. Daryl knocked Jung Woo out with the crossbow and Rosita knocked Aiden out. When the two were unconscious, the group went back to Alexandria where they were taken to two different cells. Daryl then went with the others to Michonne where they explained the situation to her while Rosita and Micheal went to Sophie.
