Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
The 6 years old Sophie took the gun and aimed at the walker's head like she had learned from Abraham and Rosita and then pulled the trigger and shot the walker in the head, which immediately fell to the ground, whereupon Tyresse looked at her in shock, which the others did too because they didn't know that Abraham and Rosita had shown her how to use the gun. "Thanks..." came Tyresse's surprise but also shock when he saw Sophie with the gun in her hand, whereupon Maggie also looked at her in surprise. Sophie turned to Rosita, who had come to Sophie. "Mom, I helped Tyresse," came Sophie, who was surprised at herself for actually having managed it.Rosita breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her daughter was OK. "Yes, you did well," Rosita began while looking at her daughter with a smile. Then Rosita took the gun from her daughter and gave it to Tyresse, who took it. "More of them," came Glenn's sudden reply as he saw more walkers from afar. Rick sent the others in, who then went in as well, while Rick shot at the walkers but then also went back into the church.

Rosita breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her daughter was fine. "Yes you did, well done" Rosita began while looking at her daughter with a smile. Rosita then took the gun from her daughter and gave it to Tyresse, who accepted it. "Even more of them," Glenn suddenly said as he saw more walkers from far away. Rick sent the others in who then went in while Rick shot at the walker but then also went back into the church. Afterwards, when everyone was inside, Carl went to Sophie."Hey, we still have to finish our game, right?" It came from Carl with a smile because he wanted to distract Sophie when Bob with one leg in the church kag after everyone was inside. Rosita then gave him a grateful look when she heard that and watched as Carl left with Sophie. Bob then explained to the others what had actually happened. Bob continued to talk and Rick talked to Bob about what had happened and about the situation in general since Daryl and Carol were also still missing. "Carl, Sophie" it suddenly came from Rick but also from Rosita when they suddenly heard noises, whereupon Carl nodded and hid with Sophie. Rick and a few others took their weapons and looked for what was going on outside while Gabriel also hid inside. The search went on for a while. Suddenly the kitchen, which was locked, was opened by a man, but he was not alone. When Carl heard the noise, he put his pistol in his hand and cocked it while Gabriel sat scared in his hiding place. Carl, Sophie and Gabriel were in a small room where Carl was aiming at the door when he heard the men's guns were aimed at the door. "We know that you are here and we also know that you know that we are here," came the man, who turned out to be Gareth, but there was silence and no one opened the door, whereupon the man spoke again seized. "This is your last chance" came from Gareth again while he was standing with his men in front of the locked room until suddenly two of Gareth's men were shot, whereupon Gareth and another man turned around. Then you heard Rick's voice taking the floor. "Put your weapons on the ground," Rick said slowly and menacingly as he and the others came back. After Gareth said he was going to shoot into the office, Gareth was shot, which caused him to fall. After Gareth's people saw that it wasn't just Rick, they put down their weapons and then went to the ground where they knelt down, whereupon Rick went to Gareth and stood in front of him. When Carl heard that it was quiet and the situation seemed to be under control, he walked out of the room with Sophie, whereupon Sophie ran straight to Abraham, who took his daughter in his arms and asked her if everything was okay, which Sophie confirmed with a nod . Afterwards, Abraham looked at the scene in front of him while Rick had a conversation with Gareth. "Rick.." came quietly from Sophie when she saw that Rick took out his machete with which he promised to kill Gareth when he gave Gareth this promise in Terminus. "It's necessary Sophie, we have to do whatever it takes to survive even if it means killing," Rick said seriously before turning to Gareth and killing him with the machete. When this was done, his people were also killed and the girls were taken outside before Sasha took care of the injured Bob, who only made it until the next morning before he died.
Timeskip: a few months:
It's been a few months since the DOE group left the church the next morning after Bob died and Rick killed Gareth. A few things happened during this time. Eugene had admitted that he had lied about his "mission", which made Abraham and Rosita really angry. Of course, unfortunately more members died during this time, Beth was shot when Rick and the group arrived at a hospital and Daryl carried the dead Beth out, whereupon Maggie burst into tears. Shortly afterwards, Tyresse died because he was bitten by a walker while he was searching a house for supplies. Noah also died when he and Glenn were in a building where a lot of walkers suddenly appeared and Nia pushed Glenn through the revolving door but Glenn had to watch as Noah was mauled while he screamed.But there were also good things that happened, the group initially found shelter in a barn until a man came up to them and told them about a place called Alexandria and brought them food and drink. Rick didn't believe and trust the man who turned out to be Aaron and told him to try some of the food which Aaron was forced to do as proof but Rick still didn't trust him but he knew the group couldn't survive out there forever, especially with baby Judith and Sophie who was just 7 and Carl was also a child so he decided with the group that it wouldn't be a bad idea to follow him. So the group began to follow Aaron to Alexandria, helping a man named Eric along the way before they actually arrived in Alexandria. It seemed to be a city with walls around it, or perhaps a fence. As the group and Aaron were let in, a woman came who seemed to have the say and turned out to be Deanne and she spoke to everyone in the group and recorded this with permission. The group settled in well over time. Carl met a few people his age, a girl named Enid who immediately caught Carl's interest, a boy named Ron who was apparently with Enid but Enid and Ron were together and sometimes not but in the end Enid chose Carl . Rick had also settled in very well and he even got into a relationship with Michonne and you could say Rick has been happy again for a long time. So to speak, everyone has settled in except Daryl because it's just not his thing to live like that after everything that's happened. During the time that the group was in Alexandria, Deanne also died and Rick then took over command in Alexandria, so to speak. At one point, Alexandria became overcrowded with walkers and Ron shot Carl, causing him to lose one of his eyes. Little Sophie was with Carl the whole time because she sees him like a brother and he sees her as a sister, but fortunately Carl got well again pretty quickly. So good and bad things happened in Alexandria at that time. Another bad event that happened was that Abraham loved Rosita less and then in the end he chose against Rosita and Sophie, he chose Sasha instead of his own family.
Now:
One evening when it was quiet in Alexandria because some were outside and some were inside and were able to live their lives, so to speak. The three of them were at home, Sophie was in the living room, Abraham was in Rosita and his bedroom while Abraham was packing his backpack and Rosita saw this when she entered the room. "Abraham? What are you doing?" Rosita then said in confusion while she was leaning against the door frame when she saw this. Abraham packed his backpack. Rosita didn't get an answer, so she tried to talk to Abraham again."Babe? What's wrong?" It came gently from Rosita as she walked towards him but stopped as Abraham walked around the room.After that, Abraham stayed for a moment before he finally answered. "I'm going away" was Abraham's short answer when he looked at Rosita, but his voice and his eyes were cold, Rosita had never seen it like that before.
Rosita said nothing and looked at Abraham in both shock and disbelief as he continued to pack up his things. "How come?" Rosita then asked skeptically of Rosita when she had composed herself a bit. “Something like that happens,” came Abraham’s cold reply. "Are you serious?" It came from Rosita indignantly but also slightly pissed off and unbelievable after she shook her head and then looked back at Abraham, whereupon he just nodded in response. "How come?" It was unbelievable from Rosita when she continued to look at Abraham. "Quite simply, I have made my decision to leave Rosita." Abraham then just came coldly.
"What, after everything we've been through together... you're not leaving without at least telling me why you're leaving suddenly!" Tpsita was angry but also desperate when she blocked Abraham's path, but he only pushed Rosita to the side before grabbing her by the shoulders. "Rosita I loved you, honestly but I just thought you were the last woman left when all this shit started but you're not! I love Sasha, it's over Rosita just get it!" It came loud but angry from Abraham as his grip tightened. When Abraham finished talking, he pushed Rosita away, who burst into tears, and when Abraham was about to leave, he saw that someone had been watching the two of them. It was Sophie, she had heard and seen everything...
"Dad don't go..." it came from while she looked at her father with tears but Abraham walked away without saying a word.
