Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
"Oh damn, were you together," Negan said in a mocking tone while Rosits looked shocked as Negan still held Lucille in front of Rosita and continued talking before he stood up and walked again while sophie looked at her father because she sat next to Abraham, who was now dead.
Maggie was crying, sophie looked at Negan even more shocked than before. A little later, Negan talked to Rick and negan forced Rick to cut off Carl's arm, which Rick couldn't do, and Negan made it clear to Rick that Rick and the others were now working for Negan, whereupon Rick nodded and confirmed this. Negan stood up and gave a signal to his people, which 2 people saw and put Daryl in the truck and took him with them before they drove off. The others sat in shock as Negan and his people left the place.
Now:
A week later:
It's been a week since Rick's group, well at least a few of them met Negan when they actually just wanted to bring Maggie to Hiltop but nothing really came of it since they met Negan in the middle of the way. But Abraham was killed and the rest barely escaped. This week something also happened between Maggie and Glenn, they had an argument because Glenn was more on Rick's side when it came to the thing with Negan and one evening Glenn and Maggie argued so much that Glenn went out and sat on the terrace but he was sleeping The problem there was a cold night as it was slowly becoming winter. The next morning Maggie went out like every morning and she had calmed down a little from the argument and wanted to look for Glenn and talk to him about it but when she came out on the terrace and closed the door she saw Glenn lying next to her. He was sitting on the terrace and was covered in snow but seemed unresponsive.When Maggie saw this, she quickly walked up to Glenn and knelt down next to him. "Glenn? Glenn!" Maggie was worried but also shocked as she continued to shake him and call his name, but tears came to her eyes, yes they had an argument but she loved him more than anything...
"Glenn! Glenn wake up!!" Maggie cried while shaking him but Glenn didn't move a bit which made Maggie sob and cry even more. "Maggie? What's wrong, are you okay?" Rick was confused when he was walking through Alexandria with Tara because the two were talking about eteas. Maggie looked at Rick and Tara and then shook her head. "No. Glenn he...he...didn't move..." came quietly from Maggie, whereupon Rick immediately went there with Tara and Rick looked to see if Glenn was still alive but he wasn't.. "Maggie.. " Rick said quietly, whereupon Maggie fell to her knees and cried because she knew exactly what he wanted to say."It's all my fault...my fault...if we hadn't fought then he wouldn't be out here and he would be alive..." Maggie said crying while Tara took her in her arms, which Maggie replied. "It's not, no one knew that Glenn was swine outside instead of going in somewhere warm...Maggie please don't blame yourself...you're pregnant, that's not good," Rick said cautiously as he looked to Tara and maggie saw.
"Glenn he, it's been on his mind since Abraham died and we met Negan, it wasn't good...he was mentally weak.." Rick continued and then explained what exactly he meant.
A little later most people gathered after Glenn was buried but his name was also written at the gates of Alexandria so that he would be remembered because he and many others did a lot for Alexandria. Everyone said something as the funeral took place. Maggie was heartbroken that her husband froze because of this argument and that she now has to raise the child alone. This reminds Maggie a bit of Sophie because from now on Rosita has to raise Sophie alone because Abraham left the two of them and then died because of Negan. When the funeral was over everyone left but Maggie stayed for a moment before she left and the important one things went after.
