Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
"Rick?" It suddenly came from someone in the back of the walgon, whereupon Rick immediately turned around in surprise when he recognized the voice.
Now:
"You're here," Rick said quietly but with relief when he realized that it was Glenn who had just said his name. "You're here," Rick said again in the same tone as he also recognized Maggie, Sasha and Bob. Rick now looked seriously behind Maggie and Glenn as Tara was now at Glenn and Maggie, whereupon Abraham and Rosita joined them.
"That sounds friends," Maggie said immediately when she noticed Rick's serious look. "Yes, now they are our friends too," Daryl said softly and calmly as he nodded. "These are Tara, Rosita, Abraham and Eugene" came from Glenn as he introduced the others while pointing to them as he said their names. "However long that will be" came from Abraham calmly as he went to Rick and Daryl saw. There was a moment of silence before Rick said something again. "They'll feel pretty stupid when they find out," came Rick, whereupon Abraham asked what Rick meant. "They messed with the wrong people," Rick said coldly and seriously as he looked at Abraham. Shortly afterwards everyone was working on getting out of the wagon while Sasha, Daryl and Maggie talked about whether they had seen the others. "We have to get out of here, and above all find Sophie," it came calmly but in a threatening and angry tone when Soe looked at Abraham, who immediately agreed and thought about where Sophie could be. "Who is Sophie?" Michonne was suddenly surprised when she looked at Rosita, whereupon Carl also looked at the two of them, but the others listened while they worked on finding a way out."She is the daughter of Abraham and Rosita" came Glenn's answer in a gentle but also worried tone as he looked into the group after he looked at Michonne explaining and then into the group. "We'll find them right after we get out of here" Maggie said it as she put a hand on Rosita's shoulder, whereupon Rosita just nodded while Abraham continued to work on finding a way out. After a short silence, Rick spoke up he looked at Rosita and Maggie. "Would she somehow be able to get out on her own or would she be able to cope on her own for a while?" asked Rick in a serious tone while he tried to saw through the lock with Hershel's pocket watch. "Shit no, there's no way she can cope on her own," Abraham said angrily as he tried to hide his concern.
"He's right, she's too young to manage on her own," Rosita said directly while she looked seriously at Rick. After a short moment, Michonne spoke up and looked at Rosita before she said anything. "How old is she?" Michonne asks seriously but also gently."She's 6," Rosita said angrily, seriously but also worriedly while she looked at Michonne and you could hear the anger in her voice when Rosita thought about the fact that she was killed by her in this changed world and then here, plus she knows Rosita doesn't know where she is or what's going on with Sophie."Damn" came from Daryl as he continued to work on getting out of here like the others. "We'll get out of here and find Sophie for sure," Daryl continued, which was rather thoughtful but still addressed to the group, whereupon there was silence for a moment and you could only hear the noises that were made as the group worked to find a way out To find it, Rick continued to saw around with the clock on the lock and the others did other things to get out of this wagon until suddenly they heard voices from outside. "4 of these assholes are moving in our direction" Daryl said seriously as he saw 4 people while looking through the gap in the wagon. "You know what you have to do," Rick suddenly said as you heard the voices getting closer and louder, whereupon everyone put everything away and got ready. Suddenly the wagon opened but the group was confused because the wagon was opened by the dsch so the wagon was opened and something was thrown in.
"Get out of here" came aloud from Abraham when he realized that it was a smoke grenade that was thrown in and Heder got away as best he could before it went off. A few minutes later, Daryl, Glenn, Rick, Bob found themselves in a large hall, tied up and on their knees in front of some kind of metal container. The first was hit on the back of the head with a baseball bat and then his throat was cut open with a knife. The same was done to the second and third. Just as the same thing was about to happen to Glenn, Gareth came in."Hey the number of shots?" It came from Gareth who was just on the other side of the container and the man who was holding the baseball bat and swinging stopped when he saw Gareth. The man with the baseball bat looked at the man standing next to him and he spoke up.
"I'm sorry, that was my first roundup," came suddenly from the man who wasn't holding the baseball bat. "When you're done here, go back to your post and pick up the shells, Kaylee won't pick them up until tomorrow," Gareth said directly while he was writing something in a book he was holding in his hand and then there was silence for a moment Bob said something now. "Hey! Hey, I want to talk to you," Bob said, which you didn't quite understand because he had some stuff in his mouth, like Rick, Daryl, Glenn and the two dead people too. "About what?" It came from Gareth as he removed the piece of material from Bob's mouth and waited for an answer. "Don't do that, we can fix it," Bob quickly said, whereupon Gareth simply said that it couldn't be fixed."You don't have to do that, there's a way out of all this," Bob said before he took a short pause and continued. "We have someone who knows how to stop it, he has a cure but we just have to get him to Washington so you really don't have to do that man, who can fix the world the way it was" Bob continued as he looked at Gareth Bob also looked at him. "There's no turning back, Bob," Gareth said coldly before he put the piece of material back in Bob's mouth, making sure that Bob couldn't be understood if he spoke. Gareth then knelt down and removed the piece of cloth from Rick while looking at Rick, but Rick looked at Gareth with a dangerous and threatening look. "You went into the forest with your bag but came out without it, we didn't have time to look for it yet, so what was in it?" It came from Gareth while he continued to look at Rick. "You've hidden them just in case, right? But it's too dangerous to go out there at the moment," Gareth continued as he suddenly pulled out a knife and pulled Bob slightly towards him. "What was in the bag?" It came from Gareth coldly and threateningly as he looked at Rick and held the knife close to Bob. Rick just looked at Gareth but didn't say anything. "Should I really do this?" It came from Gareth as he pointed to the knife that was close to Bob when Rick didn't answer. "I can take you there and show you," Rick finally replied in a still threatening tone while he looked briefly at Bob and then back at Gareth."No, you can forget, but maybe you can't forget that here," Gareth Mut said with a slight grin as he moved the knife towards Bob's eye. "There's a lot of weapons in there," was Rick's immediate response when he saw what Gareth was doing. "Ak-47, .44 Magnum, automatic weapons, night vision goggles, a bow and a machete with a red handle," Rick continued as he explained what was in the bag."I'll kill you with the machete," came Rick in a dark, threatening and cold tone while he looked at Gareth the whole time. There was silence for a few seconds until Gareth laughed slightly before saying something. "Thank you," Gareth said with amusement before he put the piece of cloth in Rick's mouth again and then stood up. "You have 2 hours for them on the dryer, I'm going to James in the meantime, let's see how far he's got with the cutting," Gareth said as he looked at the two men. (James is one of Terminus but I made up the name Netz so I don't always have to write "the man" )
"Now carry on with the mess, but everything has to be finished by sundown, got it?" It came from Gareth, whereupon both of them nodded in confirmation. Gareth was about to leave when he heard noises from outside and then picked up his walkie talkie. While the man swung the baseball bat to catch Glenn but he stopped when noises were heard again. The msnn was about to ask what was going on when suddenly a strong movement was felt, which was triggered by an explosion, causing everyone to almost stumble or even stumble. "You stay here!" Gareth now said nervously as he looked at his men.
"Gareth, they won't come out," one of the two began, but was immediately interrupted by Gareth. "You stay here until I find out what's going on," Gareth said as he quickly left the hall. Meanwhile, Rick tried to cut the cable ties loose with a piece of wood, which worked quite well. In the meantime you could hear more and more the sounds of shots, screams and walkers outside."Holy shit, we have to get out of here" came Abraham, who was still in the wagon with Maggie, Rosita, Sasha, Michonne, Carl and Eugene when he saw the burning walkers and shots being fired through the gap. "What's up?" It came immediately from Rosita and Carl too. "Shots everywhere and these damn things are running around burning," was Abraham's answer, whereupon Michonne cursed under his breath. "We definitely have to get out," said Maggie, whereupon the others agreed. "Maybe our people are out?" It came from Sasha when more and more shots were heard. "May I? Thank you," came Eugene, who squeezed past Sasha and Tara, whereupon Rosita asked him what that was supposed to be when Eugene knelt in front of the door as he held something in his hand. "I can maybe damage the door with the sleeve, I don't think there's anyone out there who can open it anymore," Eugene then explained as he looked from the door to Rosita, who said something immediately afterwards. "Hey," Carl suddenly said, whereupon everyone looked briefly at the boy. "My dad is coming back, all of them," he continued, whereupon Maggie also said that they will come back and they will have to fight their way out when Rick and the others come.
Meanwhile, Rick had managed to free himself from the cable ties and used the sharp piece he had to kill the one who was with them, who then fell to the ground. Rick saw a dead man lying shirtless on the metal table and he realized what this was supposed to be. "Rick, rick here!" It came from Glenn who hoped that Rick heard it despite the fact that Glenn had a piece of material in his mouth. After rick freed his mind he ran to glenn freeing him who then freed daryl while rick freed bob. "Sounds like a damn war" came from Daryl as they ran to a table where there were several things where Daryl grabbed a knife, whereupon Glenn continued while Rick stopped Bob from stabbing the man Rick killed in the head and Rick told Bob he should let the man transform. "As soon as you meet one of them, kill him immediately," Rick said seriously when they arrived in an adjoining room and saw hanging corpses and body parts, to which the three agreed. After the 4 were outside, they fought their way through the walkers and then arrived at the container where the others were, whereupon Rick opened the wagon and let them out. Carl first hugged his father, then Rick said that they had to leave. "Go, I'll look for the little one!" It suddenly came from Daryl as the group fought their way out through the walkers. Rosita looked at him and then she stopped, which Abraham then did the same. "I'm coming with you," Rosita said seriously while looking at Daryl. "No, I'm going, I think there won't be more than one there, so let's meet in the forest, we'll find you!" It came from Daryl, whereupon Rosita wanted to go to him because she definitely wanted to help, but Abraham stopped her even though he wanted to help himself, but he just trusted Daryl now.
"Bring her back," came Abraham in a worried but gentle tone, which is unusual for Abraham since he is so close to his family. Daryl then nodded and went to find Sophie.Daryl saw was running around Terminus killing a few walkers until he suddenly saw an open door to one of the buildings and slowly went in with the knife in his hand.When Daryl walked in, Daryl heard a man (James) talking but he didn't hear what he was saying. When Daryl came in quietly and unnoticed, he looked carefully into the room and recognized a man (James) who was cutting meat and when Daryl's gaze subverted he saw someone in the cell and recognized that it was a little girl. Daryl quietly sneaked up behind James and grabbed him before holding the knife to James' neck. "Where is the key to the cell?" It came from Daryl in a cold and threatening tone, whereupon the man didn't answer, which made Daryl angry, so Daryl pressed the knife harder against James's hook, whereupon he gave in. "Pocket!, it's in my right pocket!" James said nervously as he felt the pressure of the knife increasing, whereupon Daryl reached into his pocket with one hand. "Why the hell does Ohr do this shit?" Daryl now said coldly as he took the key from James' pocket. "We do what it takes to survive, like you!" Came James nervously in response. "Bullshit" came from Daryl before he stabbed James in the neck, who then fell dead to the ground before Daryl's gaze fell next to the cell when Sophie's backpack fell, which Datyl had already seen when he met Rick etc. with Alex. Daryl quickly regained his composure and walked towards the cell and crouched down in front of it when he saw the little scared girl. "Don't worry I'm not one of them, I know your mother and father and I'll take you back to them okay?" It came from Daryl in an unusually gentle manner, whereupon Sophie nodded and Daryl then got up and unlocked the cell. "What's your name?" It continued to come gently from Daryl, even though he of course knew her name, he still wanted to
hear it to build at least a little trust in her and he wanted to show her that he really wasn't one of them. "S...so...Sophie," the frightened girl stuttered, whereupon Daryl gave her a small smile and said that it was a nice name. Daryl gave Sophie her small backpack that was next to the cell and walked towards her and slowly moved his hands towards Sophie as a sign that he would pick her up. Sophie then raised her hands slightly and Daryl took her in his arms.When Daryl had Sophie in his arms, he left the room with her and tried to leave Terminus as quickly as possible. After a while, Daryl saw the exit and went there and then made it into the forest, which Daryl then entered, while also keeping an eye on the little girl to make sure everything was okay as far as possible.
