Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
Some were talking inside, having fun or talking about serious things, but some were also outside. Daryl was outside with Carol, who was killing a walker, and Bob went out too, but in a different direction, where he leaned against a tree and cried a lot, but he tried to pull himself together quickly when he was suddenly knocked out, but no one noticed that he was gone because he had gone out alone.

Now:
"Hey Sophie, darling," Rosita said softly as she went to Sophie, who was playing a card game with Carl that they had both found in the church, but they both laughed more because neither knew the rules and the two made their own rules. "Huh, mom?" Sophie then said confusedly as she raised her head and looked up a little when she saw that Rosita had come to her and Carl. "Please put the cards away for now, you can play with Carl again later or carry on playing, but your father and I need to talk to you," she said in a friendly but serious tone, whereupon Sophie put the cards down, slightly sad. "Hey, we can carry on later, I'm not playing with anyone else, I'm waiting," Carl said smilingly and softly as he watched Sophie put the cards down, slightly sad. Sophie then looked at Carl once before saying something. "Promise? Promise that you won't play with anyone else?" Sophie asked uncertainly, but you could tell she was serious about the question. "Promise," Carl replied seriously while he continued to look at Sophie. "Okay," Sophie said, and a smile came onto her face when Carl promised that the two of them would continue playing the card game later.
"Everything cleared up?" Rosita asked as she looked back and forth between Carl and Sophie, to which both agreed. "Then it's fine, off you go," Rosita said as her gaze fell on Sophie again, who then stood up too, but Carl said goodbye and Sophie also agreed to meet Carl. When Sophie then went to Rosita, they both went together to Abraham, who was talking to Tyresse. "Hey," came from Rosita and Abraham suspected why Rosita had come to him, and with Sophie at that. "Hey, there you are," came Abraham with a slight smile, to which Rosita nodded and Tyresse smiled when he saw Rosita and Sophie."Yes, Sophie really wanted to clear something up with Carl, the two of them had been playing a card game," Rosita explained with an amused undertone. "Oh yeah? And did you win?" Abraham asked, to which Sophie nodded. "Well, no one has yet, but I'm sure I'll win," Aophie said determinedly as Abraham stood up. "That's my daughter!" Abraham said proudly as he ruffled Sophie's hair, which made Sophie giggle. "I'm outside with the two of them if anything happens, but Daryl is still outside with Carol," Abraham turned to Tyresse, who nodded, so Abraham went with Rosita and Sophie and then they walked a little way away from the church but not too far. It was in the woods but close to the church so that you could still see it, and on the way there Abraham took a few bottles that he found on the bus earlier in the day. So they went into the woods but still within sight of the church because they didn't want to go too far."What are we doing here? Mom said you wanted to talk, dad?" Sophie asked curiously and confused when she noticed that they were in the forest when the three stopped but were still within sight of the church. Abraham took a deep breath, looked at Rosita and nodded as a sign that he was explaining it to Sophie, whereupon Rosita nodded. Then Abraham looked at Sophie and got to her eye level and took another deep breath and prepared to explain to his 6-year-old daughter that he was going to teach her how to shoot. "Sophie, you know when we were at Terminus and you were separated from Mom and me?" Abraham started to explain but he wanted to explain it slowly so that Sophie would understand everything he said, even though Abraham knew that he would say things that you wouldn't normally say to your own child or to children in general. Sophie nodded at Abraham's question. "Yes, I was locked up until Daryl came and he killed the man who was with me," Sophie explained in her usual innocent tone while she looked at Abraham, but you could hear and notice that Sophie was scared because of what had happened, but who can blame her? a 6-year-old who was locked up and then saw dead people being cut up. Abraham nodded understandingly as he listened to Sophie and waited patiently until she had finished talking. "Your dad and I want you to be safe, so your dad and I want you to know how to act in an emergency so that something like this doesn't happen again," Rosita suddenly said gently but seriously and she explained it so that Sophie understood. "And how?" Sophie asked confusedly as she looked back and forth between Abraham and Rosita.
Rosita looked at Abraham briefly, worried, before Rosita crouched down next to Sophie so that they were both at eye level. Then Rosita looked at Sophie worriedly while Rosita took a gun out of her holster because Rosita wore two holsters, one on her left thigh and the other on her right thigh and both holsters had guns in them and Rosita took out a gun and held it in her hand while she looked at Sophie. "So, we want you to know how to handle it so that you can act in an emergency, okay?" Rosita said carefully but also gently and worriedly while she looked at Sophie who was looking at the gun in Rosita's hand but you could tell that it hurt Rosita to say that she was going to show her daughter how to use a gun and shoot it. Sophie then nodded hesitantly as confirmation that she understood why Abraham and Rosita were doing this now. "But about the handling of the weapon, we're going to set a few rules," Rosita continued, to which Sophie nodded. "So new rules? We have the other rule too," Sophie asked curiously, to which Rosita confirmed with a nod. "Exactly, we'll just add some, but the old rule will stay, do you remember it?" Rosita then asked, to which Sophie nodded in confirmation with a smile. "Let's hear it," came Abraham's reply. "We don't d anything alone," came Sophie's proud reply as she explained the rule. "Great," came Rosita's smile, which made Sophie grin at the praise. "So the new rules are, if we want to shoot at the monsters, we always shoot at the head, OK? And with people, we shoot at the head too, unless you hurt them, only then can you aim at the body and shoot, is that clear?" Rosita explained again slowly. "The next rule is, always save at least one bullet," Rosita continued explaining but Sophie understood and Sophie nodded when Rosita had finished explaining. "Repeat it," came Rosita and Sophie answered with a nod. "Bri aim at the head of monsters and at people too unless you hurt them and I should keep one bullet," came Sophie in her usual innocent tone while she repeated Rosita's words and the rules. "Exactly, we'll summarize them all again, OK?" Rosita explained and wanted to summarize the rules again so that Sophie would remember them better. So the first rule is we don't do anything alone, so no going it alone or anything like that, second rule always aim for the head, whether it's a human or a monster, except for humans, if you just want to hurt them then we aim for the body,
Third rule, always leave a bullet in the gun," Rosita explained again as she went through the rules with Sophie again, whereupon Sophie repeated them again, which made Rosita praise Sophie again. After that was all cleared up, Abraham spoke again as he turned to Sophie again while looking at her. "Those were the important things you have to remember, now mom will show you how to use them, but don't worry, mom will do it with you," Abraham then said and his voice became softer at the end while explaining.
"Okay," Sophie replied with a nod, but Msn noticed that Sophie was unsure and nervous, but also a little scared. had.
"Don't worry, mom will stay with you the whole time and I will too," Abraham continued, which calmed Sophie down a bit and she nodded in confirmation, whereupon Abraham nodded. Then Abraham walked a few meters away and put the first bottle on the ground because he had fetched bottles from the bus from the church. After that, Rosita turned to Sophie while Abraham put the first bottle down.
Rosita, who was still at Sophie's eye level because she was crouching next to her, explained to Sophie why Abraham had put the bottle down. Then Rosita aimed at the bottle and explained what was important when aiming and shooting. Next, Rosita took the gun down again and showed Sophie how to hold it correctly, the individual parts e.g. magazine and so on and then how to use it. Sophie watched carefully and listened too, but Sophie also asked from time to time if she didn't understand something, which Rosita then explained fairly for Sophie so that she understood it a little better.
Rosita then held the gun out to Sophie, which Sophie then carefully took with both hands."It's really heavy," Sophie said in surprise as she held the gun in her small hands. Rosita smirked a little at her daughter's statement. "That's true, but you'll get used to it," Rosita explained with a smile, to which Sophie nodded. Next, Rosita showed where Sophie should stand and Sophie stood there and aimed at the bottle, whereupon Rosita went behind Sophie, simply helping her to aim. Then Sophie shot and she just missed a little, whereupon Rosita told her that it wasn't a big deal. Sophie tried again and breathed in and out once before Rosita told her to give it a try, which worked because Sophie calmed down even more after that. Sophie shot again after Rosita told her in which direction she should aim more and Sophie even hit the bottle this time. "Great!" Abraham shouted from afar and Sophie grinned when she saw the broken bottle. Rosita was also very happy for her daughter. They repeated the whole thing with the other bottles, some of which Sophie hit. Rosita ruffled Sophie's hair, which made Sophie giggle.Meanwhile, Carol, who was outside with Dary, heard the shots, so they went through the forest, Daryl taking his crossbow and Carol her gun. Every time a shot was fired, they carefully approached from where the shot was fired.
"It's just you," Carol suddenly said with relief when she and Daryl reached Abraham and Sophie and the two saw that it was them. Meanwhile, both of them immediately lowered their weapons when they realized that it was just the three of them. "Yes, everything's fine," came as confirmation in Abraham's usual tone as he turned to the two of them, whereupon Daryl nodded. "You're teaching her to shoot?" Daryl asked as his eyes fell on the gun that Sophie still had in her hand and that Rosita was about to take. Abraham looked briefly at the two of them and then back at Daryl and Abraham nodded before saying anything. "Yes, at least that way she knows how to defend herself if there are walkers nearby or if there is danger," Abraham explained, whereupon Daryl and Carol thought for a moment, which is why there was a brief silence. "Not a bad idea," Carol said as she looked at Abraham, who nodded.
"Hey, go in with Sophie, she wanted to keep playing with Carl, and I wanted to ask them both something, OK?" Abraham said as he turned to Rosita, who then nodded and went back into the church with Sophie.
"Daryl, Carol, do you think it was the right decision?" Abraham began to tell the story, and Carol and Daryl both listened attentively. "Tyresse said you had two children with you when you were separated after prison, how did you handle that?" Abraham then drove away and looked at Carol because Abraham knew that Tyresse and Carol were on their way to the prison with the two children."Well, we had a few children in prison and we had told them a lot about weapons and prepared them for handling weapons, but the parents of some of the children were still alive, like the two girls who were with me and Tyresse, they both knew how to handle them and had their own," Carol then explained while Abraham listened attentively. "So should I give Sophie her own? I mean, she knows how to handle them and can shoot," Abraham said in his usual tone while he looked at Carol and Daryl. Both Daryl and Carol thought for a moment before either of them said anything. "It wouldn't be bad if she had her own, let's say Walker attacks us, there's no weapon on the ground for her to use, so it would be good if she had her own," Daryl explained, to which Abraham nodded in confirmation. When everything was cleared up, the three of them also went in to the others. "I think the two of them are best friends now or something like that," said Carol with a smile when she saw that Carl and Sophie were playing cards and "arguing" about who was right and who was wrong. Abraham then agreed. Rosita saw that Abraham was back with the two of them and went up to the three and asked if everything had been sorted out, which Abraham confirmed. Rosita nodded with relief. Abraham then explained to Rosita the suggestion that Daryl had made that Sophie should have her own gun, but Rosita was not enthusiastic about it and did not agree, because she was actually against showing Sophie how to use weapons at all, and now she should have her own? Daryl then explained to Rosita why it would be good if Sophie had her own gun, which got Rosita thinking a bit, but she still did not agree.
"She would be safer that way, and in case of an emergency there wouldn't be a weapon lying around, you know that," Abraham said as he looked at Rosita. "Yes...but she's only 6, Abraham, 6..." Rosita continued as she looked at Abraham."I know...but we talked about Sophie not having the childhood we wanted, but that's the only way Sophie will be safe, what if we're separated again? She can then defend herself in an emergency, Rosita," Abraham continued and tried to convince Rosita that Sophie should get her own weapon. After a few minutes, Rosita agreed because she wants her daughter to be safe after all."Where is Sasha, anyway?" Carol suddenly asked when she saw that Sasha was no longer in the room. "Bob has disappeared too," Daryl said skeptically, noticing that Bob was also missing. Something is seriously wrong here.

Does the disappearance of Bob and Sasha have something to do with the words that Carl and Rick found at the house next to the church?
