Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
Then he went to his room where he lay down in bed until after a while he fell asleep. Sophie also fell asleep after a while after thinking about what had happened today. Sophie found out she had a stepbrother but that same day her best friend kissed her and said he had feelings for her? When Sophie thought about it for a few times, she slowly but surely fell asleep and ended up in the land of dreams.
Now but it's a Flashback/ dream:
"Dad, dad get up!" Little 5-year-old Sophie said excitedly as she quietly went to Abraham, who had fallen asleep in the living room. Abraham was then woken up by little Sophie. "Mh?" That was when he woke up. Abraham stretched briefly before he noticed Sophie. "Why are you up so early?" Abraham said with a smile but also confusion when he looked at little Sophie. "It's Mom's birthday up," Sophie said excitedly, and Abraham laughed quietly when he remembered what day it was, Rosita's birthday.
Abraham then got up and went into the kitchen with Sophie where they both baked a birthday cake as quietly as possible. When the cake was ready, Abraham took it out to cool while Sophie changed and they both decorated the living room together. About half an hour later, Rosita came into the living room and saw the decorated living room. Sophie then ran to Rosita with a happy smile. "Happy birthdayy Mamaa" came the grinning little Sophie, which immediately put a smile on Rosita's face. "Aw, thank you, sweetheart," Rosita then replied as she kissed Sophie on the head before Abraham congratulated Rosita on her birthday and gently kissed Rosita, who kissed her back. Abraham then let go of Abraham and went briefly into another room, but came back a few moments later. When Abraham came back he had something in his hand, a small box which he gave to Rosita who then opened it. Inside was a small necklace. Rosita looked at the necklace and noticed that it was a special creation because the necklace had a small circle with a picture inside. Sophie, Rosita and Abraham were in this picture because it was an old picture but it had been a great day and so Abraham decided to have a necklace made with it and then give it to Rosita for her birthday. "Abraham..." came the soft but quiet reply from Rosita before she looked at Abraham who smiled gently at her. "And do you like it?" he asked softly but still in a curious tone. "Do you like it? Of course it's beautiful, thank you" came the soft but grateful reply from Rosita before she gave Abraham a kiss who of course returned it while Sophie just said "Ew" and looked at the two of them strangely which made both Abraham and Rosita laugh. A little later a few of Abraham and Rosita's friends came, some from work in the military but also other friends and Mike was there too. Rosita, Abraham, Sophie, Mike and everyone else who was invited had a great day, lots of fun things were done and there were also funny conversations, and even little Sophie was involved a little as far as it went.
Flashback end
A little later in the night, Sophie woke up, jumped up and looked around until she realized after a few seconds that she was in her bed in Alexandria. Sophie looked at her bedside table where there was a photo of her, Tara and Rosita. Maggie had secretly taken the photo but then gave it to Sophie, who then kept the photo. Sophie then got up and went quietly to the room where Rosita and Tara were sleeping and quietly opened the door, which squeaked a little. Sophie saw Rosita and Tara lying there and then Sophie realized again that it was all just a dream, which made Sophie sigh. Rosita, who woke up when the door squeaked, looked at the door and recognized Sophie. "Sophie, honey, what's wrong?" Rosita asked gently but confused when she saw Sophie there. "I..." Aophie said quietly but nervously as she looked in Rosita's direction as Sophie stood in the doorway. "Nightmare?" Rosita then asked Sophie in a gentle tone after Rosita let out a gentle sigh. "Well...Not a nightmare exactly..." Sophie said nervously but quietly as she stood in the doorway. Rosita sighed gently, it wasn't an annoyed sigh but more of a worried one. Rosita stood up slowly and carefully, being careful not to wake Tara, and then walked over to Sophie, where she then went out with Sophie and sat down on the steps in front of the house they lived in. "So what was the dream about?" Rosita asked gently as she looked at Sophie. "It was about dad...I mean Abraham," Sophie said in a trembling voice as she looked straight ahead. "I dreamed about the day when it was your birthday and he gave you that necklace, Mike was there too, I still remember that day," Sophie explained slowly but you could hear the sadness in her voice. Rosita listened attentively and waited until Sophie had finished speaking. "Hey...You can call him dad, you don't have to call him by his name, honey," Rosita said gently, whereupon Sophie looked at Rosita. "I know but...But somehow I want to call him dad but somehow I don't...He is my dad but what he did...And then he is just so...died... in vain..." Sophie then said in a trembling voice as tears ran down her cheeks, which she then wiped away immediately. "Oh darling," Rosita said caringly, whereupon Rosita brought Sophie over and Sophie laid her head on Rosita's shoulder. "I'm sorry for what happened but you have to know that he loved you, you were his everything and you were the perfect duo," Rosita said gently. "Yes, until he met Sasha and then left us." Sophie said while she looked at the floor. "Yes, but we have something better now, we have Tara, she is family," Rosita said convincingly but also gently. "Yes... I'm glad she's here but I'm afraid something will happen to her... So many have died..." Sophie said sadly in a trembling voice. "It won't, we'll do everything to protect her and we'll protect Michael too, right?" Rosita said gently whereupon Sophie nodded slowly. Rosita then gave Sophie a kiss on the forehead but the two stayed outside for a while in the fresh air before going inside and trying to sleep.
Yes I'm back with this fanfic and I will write it now again!
