Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
When Abraham finished talking, he pushed Rosita away, who burst into tears, and when Abraham was about to leave, he saw that someone had been watching the two of them. It was Sophie, she had heard and seen everything...
"Dad don't go..." it came from while she looked at her father with tears but Abraham walked away without saying a word.
Now:
A few weeks went by in which Abraham hadn't said a single word to Rosita. But he also ignored Sophie, which broke her heart because after all, Abraham was always her greatest hero and suddenly he acts as if his daughter doesn't exist just because he loves Sasha.
Now the group that consisted of Aaron, Rick, Carl, Sophie, abraham, Rick, Maggie and Sasha is running around in the middle of the forest because they wanted to take Maggie, who was pregnant by Glenn Mach Hiltop, to a doctor because she was feeling bad. The group looked around nervously when they heard noises that sounded like whistling and the fact that it was night and there were walkers in the forest too. When suddenly light appears and shines on the group, they then stopped and saw many different vehicles and there were also many people around the group, too many for the group to have a chance of fighting them and what's more, these people were armed. The group looked around in panic while Aaron took out his rifle, whereupon he aimed at people while the group turned around nervously because no one knew what was going on and that whistle could still be heard. "Eugene!" Suddenly sophie said and she was surprised but also worried and scared and saw that Eugene was next to one of the vehicles and behind him there were men, like everywhere else, but Eugebe was sitting on his knees. Sophie then wanted to run to Eugene when someone from the strange group aimed at sophie. "I don't think so," came the stranger, whereupon the others immediately took notice. "Hey!" Carl then got upset when he saw that someone was aiming at Sophie. The stranger then suddenly put the weapon down when another man came and signaled him to put it down, which he did.
"You did it, welcome to the finish line," came the man with an evil smile as he came over and looked at Rick and the others.
"Bring your weapons" came again from the man, which sounded like an order and his tone sounded very self-confident and also arrogant. "Immediately," he continued as he took out his pistol and aimed it at Carl.
"We can talk about it," Rick said slowly and carefully when he saw him. "Enough talking, now we're listening," the man said again in a threatening tone. As a result, everyone's weapons were confiscated, including Carl and little sophie. This man provocatively asked if it was Carl's gun when he found Carl's gun but Carl said nothing so the man just laughed and then walked up to sophie and then took her gun.
"And it's yours too, right?" The man said it provocatively, whereupon Sophie just looked at him, which made him laugh. He then addressed the group again.
"On your knees, now" came the man in a threatening but also commanding tone, whereupon some of them then sat on their knees. "Maggie" came from Sophie in a whisper when she saw that Abraham was helping Maggie because she was feeling bad , so rick helped Abraham to sit Maggie down. After a bit of contradiction, Rick sat down and the rest followed suit. Then another truck was opened where Michonne, Daryl, Glenn and Rosita were inside, who also knelt down.
"Mom" sophie said as she saw her mother.
"Now that you're complete, it's time you got to know the boss," the man said in the same arrogant tone as he opened the door of a dee truck, whereupon a man wearing a leather jacket came out while holding a baseball bat in his hand Mut held a grin over his shoulder as he watched the group. "Which one of you assholes is the leader?" It came first from the man with the baseball bat as he looked around Rick's group.
There was silence and no one said anything until one of the other men said something. "That one is the boss," came one of the men standing behind Rick's group, pointing at Rick. "Then the man with the baseball bat looked at Rick. "So you're Rick," the man with the baseball bat continued as he looked at Rick. "I'm Negan and I'm not happy about you just killing my people but I believe you will "It'll soon be clear where we're going from here," came the man again, who now identified himself as Negan while speaking in a threatening tone but still smiling. "Yeah..you'll regret messing with me in a few minutes," Negan firt said as his grin turned into a blister grin. There was then a brief silence until Negan spoke up again. "Now we're going, pay attention," Negan said as he took the baseball bat, which was surrounded by barbed wire, from his shoulder and held it in front of Rick. "Give me all your shit or I'll kill you," Negan said in an amused but whispering tone as he continued to look at Rick. Afterwards, Negan explained that Rick's group is now working for Negan and will give him everything if they find something.
"You killed my people, a whole lot of them, and you have to pay for that," Negan suddenly said seriously as he looked into the group, whereupon there was silence. "And that's why I'm going to beat the soul out of one of you," Negan said again as he explained his intentions. "And this, this is Lucille, and I'm doing all this just so we can find out which of you has the honor," Negan said again while he was swinging his baseball bat before he went around and stopped in front of a few and said something until he then stopped in front of Maggie.
"I beg you, you look like crap and maybe I should put you out of your misery right away," Negan said amusedly as he looked at Maggie, whereupon glenn wanted to go straight to Maggie but was held and sasha also said something as Negan held Lucille in front of Maggie."No...leave, leave her alone,"sasha said frightenedly, but then she found the courage to say something. "And why should I? Give me a good reason not to kill her," Negan said again, amused, as he looked at sasha. Sasha didn't say anything for a moment, but after a moment she composed herself again. "She...she's pregnant," glenn said quietly because sasha disnt say anything to answer nehans question. Glenn continued to try to go to Maggie but was dragged back to his seat and begged for Negan to leave Maggie alone, which only made Negan laugh. Afterwards he went around the group and pointed at everyone with Lucille while he stopped in front of each other individually as he "played" Eeny Meeny Miny Mow and first he stopped in front of Abraham and Sophie's heart sank for a moment, so to speak, because she kneeled right next to Abraham.
Abraham once showed Sasha the peace sign since it was a thing between the two and he knew it was the end for him but he didn't say anything to sophie his own blood... or to rosita. whereupon Negan immediately hit Abraham's head hard with Lucille, who fell to the ground but got up again with a bloody face. Nobody said anything and Sophie looked shocked because she was sitting right next to them, but not to forget that she was the youngest there because she was even younger than Carl then shes just 8 years old. Afterwards Negan hit Abraham again while he cursed and Rosita cried because she still loved Abraham even though he chose Sasha who also cried. Negan kept hitting until there was nothing left of Abraham's head other than brain matter and the blood was spraying the whole time, even when there was only brain matter left, he continued to hit, whereupon the blood was spraying and Maggie and Sophie got blood, although Maggie only got a little of it on the side had clothes but Sophie got it right in the face. After a moment he stopped and walked up to Rosita and showed her Lucille with Abrahm's blood, which Rosita saw of course but was still shocked.
"Oh damn, were you together," Negan said in a mocking tone while Rosits looked shocked as Negan still held Lucille in front of Rosita and continued talking before he stood up and walked again while sophie looked at her father because she sat next to Abraham, who was now dead.
Maggie was crying, sophie looked at Negan even more shocked than before. A little later, Negan talked to Rick and negan forced Rick to cut off Carl's arm, which Rick couldn't do, and Negan made it clear to Rick that Rick and the others were now working for Negan, whereupon Rick nodded and confirmed this. Negan stood up and gave a signal to his people, which 2 people saw and put Daryl in the truck and took him with them before they drove off. The others sat in shock as Negan and his people left the place.
