Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
It's been 5 years since Carl's death and Sophie took care of Judith as she promised, but of course she helped the group as best she could and she was closer to Rosita than ever before and Tara was getting closer and closer, even though Tara and Rosita had been there for about a year now Were in a relationship for 6 years. Siddiq the man Carl saved was now a member of the group and was a helpful doctor in Alexandria and also a good friend but Sophie didn't like him because Carl died because of him. Sophie is now 15 years old and really liked Henry, a boy from Kindom, even though they were both friends, she liked him more.
The bad thing that happened was that Rick disappeared and was believed to be dead when he blew up the bridge and everyone believed he was dead since he blew up with the bridge during the explosion.
Now:
As Rosita, Sophie and Micheal came back to Alexandria they saw Judith discussing with Michonne and Siddiq while Gabriel, Aaron and a few others were there too. It seemed like Siddiq, Judith and Michonne were talking about the group that Aaron and Judith had dragged with them. "Judith, you know the rules," Michonne said with a sigh as she looked at Judith. "Yes, but they needed help, and they also gave up their weapons voluntarily," Judith then argued stubbornly. "Judith isn't that wrong, you could help us, and Judith trusts you for some reason and Sophie had also agreed, so I think it wouldn't be so wrong if you stayed," Aaron said thoughtfully when he made the suggestion and Gabriel also agreed. Afterwards, Michonne thought for a moment while looking at Magna, Yumiko, Connie, Kelly and Luke, where Michonne looked at Magna coldly and Magna also looked at her for a few seconds.
"And before you ask, no, he doesn't have any weapons, he only had a small knife but mom has that now," Sophie said in a annoyed but still first tone while she looked at Michonne, who was briefly thinking about what to do but she sighed when she thought about it being Abraham's son and somehow Sophie's brother. "Then go." It came from Michonne in a serious and cold tone as she looked at Micheal and then looked at Rosita because it didn't look like Michael could do much or do anything to anyone. Rosita, Sophie and Michael then went to the house where Rosita lived with Tara and Sophie and on the way there was an argument between Sophie and Rosita. When the three arrived, Sophie opened the door, went in angry but also annoyed, which Rosita did too and Michael just followed. Tara then came into the hallway when she heard the voices of Rosita and Sophie because Tara was at home. "How could you not tell me something like that?!" Sophie came angrily as she walked further in. "Sophie.. now wait a minute u-" Rosita started but she couldn't finish the sentence because Sophie had already gone to her room and slammed the door, whereupon Rosita sighed. "Babe, what's going on and who is this?" It came gently from Tara when she saw that Rosita was a little desperate with Sophie. "It's complicated, darling.." Rosita said in a slightly desperate tone as she tried to calm down. Tara then took Rosita's hand and went with her into the living room where Rosita sat on the couch and Tara sat next to Rosita while Michael sat down on an armchair. "I'm Micheal," Michael suddenly said in a quiet tone, whereupon Tara looked at him and nodded. "Tara," Tara said in a calm tone before she turned her attention back to Rosita. "What's actually going on?" Tara asked Rosita again gently but also carefully, whereupon Rosita sighed. "So after we found the group of new ones and Aaron and Judith brought the new ones to Alexandria, Sophie and I went around a bit because we wanted to make sure that there weren't more near Alexandria or that we didn't find any walkers after a while Michael and he explained to us that he is Abraham's son...which means he is Sophie's half brother but the thing is I never knew about it and now Sophie is mad because she thinks I never wanted to tell her or something Guess.." Rosita then explained carefully, whereupon her voice sounded worried but also sad as she talked. "Hey, I'll talk to her, maybe she'll calm down or understand the situation better," Tara said gently as she stood up, whereupon Rosita mumbled a "thank you." Then Tara gave her a kiss which Rosita returned before Tara left Rosita and Michael alone as Tara went in the direction of Sophie's room and knocked there but Tara didn't just go in but waited until Sophie invited her in. "Go away, go away mom," Sophie said pissed off because she thought it was Rosita and not Tara.
"I have to disappoint you, it's Tara, not Rosita," came Tara, who was standing in front of the door, whereupon Sophie chuckled slightly because Tara was trying to make something funny, regardless of the situation. After a few seconds, Sophie got up and opened the door for Tara before Sophie sat back down on her bed. Tara closed the door behind her and walked towards Sophie before carefully sitting down next to her. "If mom sent you here, go away," Sophie mumbled pissed off and Tara waited to see if Sophie wanted to say anything else or not but Sophie didn't say anything so Tara decided to speak up. "No, your mom didn't send me, Sophie, I understand that you're upset but-" Tara started to talk but was interrupted by a still upset Sophie. "No, you don't understand! Suddenly there's this guy who thinks he's Abraham's son! And my brother! You know how I think about dad and...!" Sophie was upset, but you could clearly see her sadness. Tara couldn't see this and wrapped Sophie in a hug that Sophie had allowed because Tara couldn't see Sophie like that because after all Sophie is something like her stepdaughter and a family. "I know it's complicated because of Abraham, but believe me, Rosita really didn't know anything about Abraham having a son before you were there. How about you give Michael a chance? Maybe he's really nice," she said in a gentle voice but also in an understanding tone while Tara pulled away from the hug and smiled slightly at Sophie. "Mhh," Sophie said thoughtfully because, after Tara's words, she was now thinking about giving Michael a chance. "At least do it for your mom, please," Tara said softly as she looked at Sophie, who was thinking about what decision she was making. Sophie then sighed, but she assured Tara that she would try to give Michael a chance, which was enough for Tara. "I'm going out for a bit," Sophie murmured quietly but loud enough for Tara to hear. Tara agreed but said that Sophie should be careful, whereupon Sophie nodded before she got up and went to the door but Tara followed her. Tara then went into the living room while Sophie left the house, whereupon Rosita wanted to get up straight away, but Tara calmed her down by explaining to Rosita that Sophie just needed a moment for herself but that she was willing to give Michael a chance. This calmed Rosita down a bit but she was still worried. After a few minutes of silence, Rosita got up and explained that she would show Michael his room because they still had one left and he was now living with Rosita, Sophie and Tara, which would be an adjustment for all of them.
