It's been a few days since Juliet has came home. Cody is happy his big sister is home, he missed her a lot. Juliet is currently down at Kennan and Skylar's. Cody wanted to go but, Dave and Amanda said they needed to have a serious talk with him.

Cody ran to his room after being severely punished by his father. He didn't even let Dave give him a hug afterwards. Cody had been punished because he has a bad grade in his history class. He could fail the class if he doesn't bring the grade back up. Cody really wanted his brother and sister right now. But he knows he wouldn't be allowed to go out after being punished.

Down at Skylar and Kennan's house, Juliet is visiting with them. "So, how's your classes been going?" Skylar asks. "They're good, it's just a lot on top of other homework and working." Juliet says. Kennan hears his phone buzz, and Cody's calling him. "I'll be back." Kennan says. Juliet and Skylar nod, "You could probably just work on weekends or the summer." Skylar says. "Yeah probably." Juliet says. Kennan comes backs in after talking with Cody. "Cody wants us to come up. He got in trouble with dad, and needs to talk." Juliet nods, "Alright." Juliet says, standing up. "Sorry babe, I'll try and make it fast." Kennan says. "It's alright. I think I'll take the kids to the park." Skylar says. Kennan nods, "Sounds good."

Juliet and Kennan go up to the house, walking in. They go straight to Cody's room, not seeing their parents in the main part of the house. When they get upstairs they walk into Cody's room. "Hey, what's wrong?" Juliet asks. "Did mom or dad see you?" Cody asks. "No, why?" Juliet asks. "I got in trouble with them." Cody says. "What happened?" Kennan asks. "I got a bad grade on a test, it's not that big of a deal!" Cody says. "So you just failed the test, nothing else?" Juliet asks. "Yeah." Cody lies. "I assume you got spanked?" Kennan asks. "Yes, but dad gave me the belt and paddle!" Cody says. "For failing a test?" Juliet questions. Juliet and Kennan would have never gotten both for just a test. "We'll talk to them, we'll be back." Kennan says. Cody nods.

Kennan and Juliet go downstairs to find their parents. They search the living room and kitchen before they find them on the back patio. "Hey kids. I didn't know you were coming over." Amanda says as they come outside. "Yeah, Cody wanted us to come over." Juliet says. "He told us you gave him the belt and paddle just for failing a test!" Kennan says. Dave and Amanda give each other a look. "We would have never gotten both of those! Why are you treating him like this!" Juliet yells. "I suggest you both watch the tone you're using with us." Dave warns. "Why? You over punished Cody! Maybe we're treating you this way for a reason!" Kennan says, rolling his eyes. "That's it!" Dave says, grabbing both of his adult children by their ears. "Ah! Dad stop!" Juliet begs. "Ouch! Dad!" Kennan says. "Both of you in the living room, and in the corner!" Dave yells.

"What got into them?" Amanda asks, shaking her head. "I have a feeling Cody didn't give them the whole story." Dave says. Amanda nods, "Regardless they're still in trouble." Amanda says. Dave nods in agreement. Dave and Amanda walk into the living room. "Sit on the couch, both of you." Dave says as they walk into the living room. They do as told and look up at their parents nervously. "We want to know what Cody told you." Amanda says. "Word for word." Dave adds.

"He told us you gave him the belt and paddle for failing a test." Kennan says. Dave sighs, "That's not the complete truth. Yes, he got both because he did fail a test, but there's also a chance he may fail the quarter." Dave says. "Oh." Juliet says. "He didn't tell us that part." Kennan says. "That's what we figured, but you're both still in trouble. You have no right to talk to us that way, even if you're adults." Dave says. Juliet looks down, feeling guilty. "Yes sir." Kennan says. "Alright, you're both getting the belt so take your pants down and bend over." Dave says. "Yes sir." Both kids say.
