32. Staying at Grandma & Grandpas

Discipline: Dennis/Amanda (M/F) Scolding | Skylar/Eden (F/F) Hand & Belt | Kennan/Elliot (M/M) Belt

It's been a few hours since Juliet left, Cody didn't go back inside afterwards. He went straight to Skylar and Kennan's. Cody knocks on the door, before Skylar lets him in. "Hey Cody." Skylar smiles. "Cody, what's wrong? You look like you've been crying." Skylar says. "Juliet left. Her and mom got in a fight, she's staying with grandpa and grandma." Cody says, sniffling. "Oh my gosh. Do you know what happened?" Skylar asks. Cody shakes his head. "Alright, well Kennan's not here right now, he took the kids to the park." Skylar says. Cody nods, "Can I stay here for a little bit? I don't want to go back up." Cody says. "Sure, I don't mind. I'm going to clean, but if you need me come find me." Skylar says. Cody nods, and goes into the living room.

"You really let her leave?" Amanda asks, rolling her eyes. "You're blaming me for this!" Dave yells. "Your lucky if she comes back! You are controlling her to much Amanda!" Dave yells, again. "Screw you Dave! She's still our child!" Amanda yells. "And she's an adult! Just because she lives here doesn't mean you get to treat her like a child!" Dave says. Amanda sighs turning on her heel, going to there bedroom and slamming the door. Dave sighs, sitting on the couch and putting his head into his hands. "How can our family fall apart in a matter of a day?" He says to himself.

Dennis & Patricia's House
6:00 p.m.

It's been about an hour since Juliet got to her grandparent's house. They told her she could stay in the guest room for a few days. Patricia is currently working on dinner, since Adam, Christine, and Chloe planned to come to dinner. Now Juliet will be apart of that. And Dennis decided to call his daughter.

Amanda: "Hey dad." Amanda says.

Dennis: "Hi sweetie. Juliet's here, thought I would check how you're doing." Dennis says, worried for his daughter.

Amanda: "I'm fine." Amanda says. In reality she really wasn't. She was worried for her family, she was worried things were damaged forever.

Dennis: "I know that's not true, talk to me." Dennis says.

Amanda: "I'm scared dad. I don't know what's going to happen with our family. Me and Dave got in a huge fight, Juliet's at your house, I don't even know where Cody is." Amanda sobs.

Dennis: "You don't know where Cody is?" Dennis asks alarmed.

Amanda: "He said goodbye to Juliet, but I haven't seen him, he's probably at Kennan's." Amanda says.

Dennis: "You need to go find him, call me later and we'll talk more." Dennis says.

Amanda: "Yes sir, I love you." Amanda says, before hanging up.

After Dennis hangs up, he goes to find his granddaughter. He knocks on the guest bedroom door, before entering. "Hi honey, not sure if your grandma told you but your aunt, uncle, and cousin are coming for dinner tonight. We planned it weeks ago." Dennis says. Juliet nods, "Oh okay." Juliet smiles. Dennis sits down next to Juliet. "I also talked with your mom, and she's pretty shaken up and upset." Dennis says. Juliet nods not really saying anything. "I'm not saying this to make you feel bad, but I think you two need to talk it out." Dennis says. "I just need a break grandpa! She's always trying to control me!" Juliet says. Dennis sighs, "I see where you're coming from, but eventually you'll have to talk about it." Dennis says. Juliet nods, "I know." She says. "Put that down, and come down for dinner." Dennis says. "Yes sir." Juliet says, and follows her grandpa downstairs.

When they get downstairs, Adam, Christine, and Chloe are already here. Chloe smiles, "I didn't know you'd be here!" Chloe says, and hugs her cousin. "Yeah, it's a long story." Juliet says. Adam makes a questioning look at his father, but he shakes his head. That means 'not right now, we'll talk about it later'. After Juliet says 'hi' to everyone, they sit down at the table for dinner. "This looks delicious mom." Adam says. "Thank you honey." Patricia smiles.
