It was Sunday, and Dai spent the entire day in his room, thinking about his feelings for Shun. He couldn't shake off the image of Shun's calm demeanor and gentle smile. Meanwhile, Shun was busy composing his new song, finding solace in his music.

The next day, Shun woke up early as usual and got ready for college. Dai also woke up early, got ready, and headed out in his new car. He intentionally drove past Shun's apartment, hoping to see him. Spotting Shun walking, Dai pressed the horn, startling him. Dai rolled down the window and greeted him.

"Good morning, senior!"

Shun greeted back with a slight smile. "Good morning, Dai."

Dai asked Shun to get inside since they were both going to college. Shun hesitated at first but eventually got in. They talked a bit, exchanging small talk, and finally reached the college. Shun thanked Dai and got out of the car.

Dai parked his car and headed towards his class. His friends saw his car and crowded around, curious.

"Wow, Dai, is this your new ride?" one of his friends asked.

"Yeah, it's a gift from my dad for my birthday," Dai replied with a proud smile.

"Nice! Your dad really knows how to spoil you," another friend commented.

They chatted a bit more, admiring the car, before heading to class. Dai listened attentively during the lecture, but his thoughts kept drifting to Shun. After class, he received a message saying that the music club was meeting today. Dai was excited and hurried to the clubroom with his friends.

As they entered, Dai saw Shun playing the piano and was mesmerized. The melody was beautiful, and Dai lost himself in the music. When Shun finished, Dai couldn't help but praise him.

"That was amazing, senior."

Shun smiled and replied, "Thank you, Dai. Would you like to try?"

Dai eagerly agreed and sat next to Shun. Shun showed him how to play the keys, and their fingers touched briefly, sending a shiver down Dai's spine. Dai felt his heart skip a beat and was about to hold Shun's hand when Mei called everyone together.

Mei instructed, "Everyone, pick an instrument you'd like to play and be careful with them."

Everyone dispersed to choose their instruments, and Shun continued teaching Dai how to play the piano. Dai felt happy and excited, being so close to Shun and learning from him.

As the evening approached, everyone started getting ready to leave. Dai waited in his car at the entrance for Shun. He saw Shun coming and called out, "Senior, get inside, I'll drop you."

Shun hesitated, thinking to himself, "Why is he doing this?" but eventually got in.

While driving, Dai asked, "Do you live by yourself?"

Shun nodded. "Yes."

"What about your family? Where do they live?"

Shun hesitated before answering, "I'm an orphan."

Dai didn't expect this and quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Shun."

Shun shook his head. "It's okay."

Dai felt sad hearing this and wanted to brighten the mood. "Tell me about your family, Dai," Shun said, changing the subject.

Dai smiled and began describing his family. "My mom is a great cook and always makes sure we have delicious meals. My dad is strict but caring. My elder brother spoils me a lot and my elder sister is a bundle of joy, always making us laugh."

Shun listened intently and replied, "You really have a nice family."

Deep down, Shun always wished to be a part of a loving family, where they shared meals together and supported each other during tough times. As Shun got lost in his thoughts, Dai stopped the car.

"We're here," Dai said softly.

Shun snapped out of his reverie and got out of the car. "Thank you, Dai. See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow," Dai replied, watching Shun enter his apartment building.

As Dai drove home, he couldn't stop thinking about Shun. He felt sorry for him but also admired his strength and independence. Meanwhile, Shun couldn't stop thinking about Dai and his loving family. He hoped that one day he could be a part of such a family.

When Dai got home, his mother noticed his sad expression and asked, "What's wrong, Dai?"

Dai sighed and replied, "Mom, there's this guy in college I'm interested in. He's so calm and feels cozy. I feel warm whenever I see him and want to spend more time with him."

His mother smiled gently. "That's wonderful, Dai. What's making you sad then?"

Dai hesitated. "Today, I asked him about his family, and he said he's an orphan."

His mother's expression softened. "That is sad. But he seems like a wonderful person. I'm sure he'll create a loving family in the future. Don't be sad, Dai."

They talked for a while longer, and Dai felt comforted by his mother's words. As he lay in bed that night, he couldn't stop thinking about Shun. He knew there was something special about him, and he was determined to get closer and understand his feelings better.
