Dai stood in front of Shun, heart racing as he repeated, "It's not what you think." His voice trembled slightly, the sincerity weighing heavily in the air. His eyes, usually full of light, were now clouded with concern and desperation. He wanted Shun to understand, to believe in him. But when Shun finally turned to look at him, the expression on his face was unreadable—calm yet intense, soft yet distant.

For a moment, Dai was lost, unable to decipher Shun’s thoughts. Then, without a word, Shun reached out, gently took Dai’s hand, and led him towards the bathroom. Dai followed, still unsure of what was going on. His mind raced, replaying every moment that had just unfolded with Hana. But he didn’t resist. He trusted Shun—he always had.

Once inside the bathroom, the soft sound of running water filled the silence. Shun calmly wet a cloth and without saying a word, brought it to Dai’s lips, gently wiping them as if erasing the remnants of something unwanted. Dai stood still, watching Shun’s focused expression. His hands then moved to splash water on Dai’s face, washing away the tension, the anxiety, the heaviness that clung to him.

The water was cool, refreshing, but what truly soothed Dai was Shun’s touch. Each movement was deliberate, gentle but firm. Shun was taking care of him in the most unexpected way, and Dai felt his heart tighten with emotion.

When Shun was done, he dropped the cloth and without hesitation, pulled Dai closer. Their bodies pressed together, the tension between them dissipating as Shun leaned in, his lips crashing into Dai’s with a force that was both desperate and full of need. The kiss was intense—raw and deep. It wasn’t just a kiss; it was a declaration, an affirmation of the love that bound them together.

Shun’s fingers dug into Dai’s hair, pulling him even closer as their lips molded perfectly into one another, fitting as if they were made for this moment. The kiss was deep and all-consuming, like they were pouring everything into it—the confusion, the relief, the love, and the fear of losing each other. It was fierce and hungry, yet at the same time, there was a gentleness underneath, a vulnerability that lay in the way Shun’s lips caressed Dai’s, as if reminding him of how much he mattered.

Dai responded with equal passion, his hands finding their way to Shun’s back, gripping tightly as he kissed him back. The room felt smaller, the world outside insignificant. All that mattered was the warmth of Shun’s body, the softness of his lips, and the unspoken words they were sharing through this kiss. It was a connection that ran deeper than words—a silent promise that no misunderstanding could ever break them apart.

The kiss stretched on, their breaths mingling as they moved together, lost in each other. When they finally pulled away for air, Shun kept Dai’s face in his hands, their foreheads resting against one another as they caught their breath.

“I know what it is,” Shun whispered softly, his breath warm against Dai’s skin. His eyes locked onto Dai’s, filled with understanding and love. “You don’t have to say anything. I know you would never do that. I know how much you love me.”

Dai’s eyes filled with tears, his chest tightening at the sheer trust and love in Shun’s words. Shun’s belief in him, his unwavering faith, broke something inside of Dai, something that had been tied up in fear. Tears slipped down his face before he could stop them.

“Why are you crying?” Shun asked, his voice filled with tenderness as he gently wiped away Dai’s tears.

Dai let out a shaky breath, pulling Shun into a tight embrace. His voice was thick with emotion as he said, “You know how terrified I was? I thought I was going to lose you.” His words came out in broken whispers, each pause heavy with the weight of his emotions.

Shun smiled softly, stroking the back of Dai’s head as he hugged him tightly in return. “You’ll never lose me,” he murmured into Dai’s hair, his voice filled with warmth and reassurance.
