It had been a week since Dai started picking up Shun and dropping him off at his apartment every day. Shun had gotten used to it, and Dai cherished these moments together. Today, however, Dai woke up late and started late for college. He thought Shun would have already left, but to his surprise, he saw Shun waiting outside his apartment. Dai felt a surge of happiness and couldn't stop smiling.

When Dai stopped his car at the apartment, Shun opened the door, got inside, and said, "You are late today."

Dai, still smiling, replied, "Sorry, I woke up late."

"That's okay, we still have time," Shun said.

Dai felt an indescribable joy seeing Shun wait for him. They both headed to college, attended their classes, and during lunch, Dai wanted to eat with Shun but saw that he was already with his friends. Not wanting to disturb him, Dai sent a message to Shun saying, "Wanna have dinner together at Taehoon's restaurant?" and waited anxiously for a response. Shun replied back with a simple, "Okay." Dai's smile widened upon reading the message.

In the evening, Dai waited for Shun in his car. When he saw Shun approaching, he opened the door for him. Shun got in, and they began talking about their day.

“How was your class?” Dai asked.

“It was good, just the usual workload,” Shun replied. “How about yours?”

“Pretty standard too, but I couldn’t stop thinking about dinner tonight,” Dai admitted, glancing at Shun.

Shun chuckled. “You really like eating out, don’t you?”

“It’s not just the food,” Dai said softly.

Soon, they arrived at Taehoon's restaurant. Taehoon, noticing their growing camaraderie, greeted them warmly. “Hey, you two! Good to see you again.”

“Hey, Taehoon,” Dai said. “It’s always great to be here.”

“You guys seem to be getting along well,” Taehoon observed, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

“Yeah, we’ve been hanging out more,” Dai said, smiling at Shun.

Taehoon brought a special dish for them, saying, “This one’s on the house. It’s a special seafood platter with a mix of grilled prawns, calamari, and scallops.”

“Wow, this looks amazing,” Shun said.

“Thanks, Taehoon,” Dai added gratefully.

After enjoying the delicious meal, Dai excused himself to the restroom. While he was away, Taehoon leaned towards Shun and asked, “Is there something going on between you two?”

“Stop joking,” Shun replied, shaking his head. Just then, Dai returned.

They said their goodbyes to Taehoon and headed back home. During the drive, they talked about how delicious the dish was.

“That seafood platter was incredible,” Dai remarked.

“Yeah, it was,” Shun agreed. “Taehoon really knows his stuff.”

As the conversation flowed, Dai asked, “Are you free tomorrow? It’s the weekend.”

Shun thought for a moment. “Well, I have to work on my music, but I’m free in the afternoon.”

“Okay then, let’s go out tomorrow,” Dai suggested.

“Where to?” Shun asked, curious.

“There’s a nice café near the Botanical Gardens. Let’s go there,” Dai proposed.

“Sounds good,” Shun said, smiling as he got off the car.

Dai said goodbye, and Shun returned the farewell before heading into his apartment. Dai drove home, his mind racing with excitement. As he lay on his bed, he thought to himself, “Tomorrow, I’m going to confess my feelings.” The thought of the upcoming day filled him with anticipation, making it hard for him to sleep.
