As the car rolled to a gentle stop outside Shun’s apartment, the night air was filled with a comforting stillness, only broken by the soft hum of the engine. Dai turned to Shun, his eyes filled with a warmth that made Shun’s heart skip a beat. Leaning in, Dai pressed a light kiss to Shun’s lips—a tender, fleeting touch that held all the sweetness of a promise. “Goodnight,” Dai whispered against Shun’s lips, his breath warm and soft. “Have a nice sleep. See you tomorrow.”

But as Dai began to pull away, Shun couldn’t help but feel a sudden pang of reluctance. He gazed up at Dai with a sulky expression, his eyes reflecting a mix of yearning and playful mischief. “You’re leaving?” he asked, his voice tinged with a mock pout that barely concealed the genuine desire behind it.

The words had barely left Shun’s lips before Dai’s demeanor shifted. Without a second thought, Dai reached for his phone, bringing it to his ear as he turned away slightly. “Mom,” he said when the call connected, his voice firm yet affectionate, “you guys don’t wait for me tonight. I’m going to stay at Shun’s.”

Shun’s eyes widened in surprise, his heart skipping a beat at the sudden turn of events. “What did you just do?” he exclaimed, a mixture of shock and amusement coloring his tone. “I was just kidding!”

Dai turned back to Shun, a playful yet serious glint in his eyes as he opened the car door for him. “But I’m not,” he said simply, his voice carrying the weight of his sincerity. “I want to be with you tonight.”

There was a determination in Dai’s gaze that made Shun’s heart flutter. He stepped out of the car, his mind still reeling from the unexpected turn. Together, they walked towards the apartment building, their hands brushing lightly against each other, the air between them charged with unspoken anticipation.

As they entered the apartment, a quiet intimacy settled over them, broken only by the sound of Shun moving about as he prepared to freshen up. Dai watched him disappear into the bathroom, leaving him alone in the room that was so uniquely Shun’s.

The space was small but cozy, filled with the subtle, comforting scent of Shun that Dai had come to adore. His eyes roamed over the details—the neatly stacked books on the desk, the sheets of music scattered across the small table, the guitar resting against the wall as if waiting to be picked up and played. It was a space that spoke of Shun’s passions, his dreams, his quiet moments of solitude.

Dai’s gaze lingered on the bed, where the sheets were slightly rumpled from the last time Shun had slept in them. It was all so intimately Shun, and Dai felt a wave of affection wash over him, mingled with something deeper, something more primal that he could feel stirring within him.

Just then, the bathroom door creaked open, and Dai’s breath hitched in his throat. Shun stepped out, his body still glistening with droplets of water, his bare skin flushed from the heat of the shower. Dai couldn’t tear his eyes away, his gaze drinking in the sight of Shun’s exposed form—smooth, toned, every inch of him a beautiful testament to the man Dai had fallen for.

Shun seemed unaware of the effect he was having, his movements casual as he reached for a pair of shorts. But as he began to pull them on, Dai’s eyes darkened with a mix of desire and restraint. He could feel the urge rising within him, the need to touch, to hold, to claim this beautiful man as his own. It was an almost overwhelming sensation, and Dai found himself gripping the edge of the bed, trying to steady himself.

When Shun reached for his t-shirt, Dai could no longer resist. He rose from the bed in a fluid motion, closing the distance between them with a few quick strides. Before Shun could slip the shirt over his head, Dai’s arms encircled his waist, pulling him close. Shun gasped softly, surprised by the sudden contact.

“What should I do?” Dai murmured, his voice low and husky as he pressed his face against Shun’s bare back. “I think I can’t control myself.”

Shun’s breath caught in his throat at the raw intensity of Dai’s words. He turned his head slightly, trying to see Dai’s expression, but Dai’s face was buried in the crook of his neck. “What do you mean?” Shun asked, his voice a soft, uncertain whisper.

Dai’s arms tightened around him, his hands splayed possessively across Shun’s abdomen. “I want to do it with you,” he confessed, his voice trembling with barely restrained desire. “Can I?”

For a moment, Shun was taken aback, his mind racing to process the sudden shift in their dynamic. But as he felt the warmth of Dai’s breath against his skin, the sincerity in his voice, Shun’s hesitation melted away. Slowly, he turned in Dai’s arms, bringing his hands up to cup Dai’s face. He looked into Dai’s eyes, seeing the vulnerability and longing there, and felt his own heart swell with affection.

“You can,” Shun whispered, his voice filled with a quiet resolve. He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to the top of Dai’s head, a gesture of acceptance, of trust.

---

The bed felt soft beneath them as they settled onto it, the dim light casting gentle shadows across their faces. Dai’s hands moved with a tenderness that belied the fire in his veins as he guided Shun to lie back, his body hovering over Shun’s as if afraid to press too close, too soon.

Dai began with the gentlest of touches, his lips brushing against Shun’s forehead in a kiss as light as a feather. He lingered there for a moment, feeling the warmth of Shun’s skin against his, before moving down to press soft kisses against each of Shun’s eyelids, his heart swelling with the simple, pure affection he felt for the man beneath him.

When he kissed the tip of Shun’s nose, Shun couldn’t help but smile, the corners of his mouth twitching with amusement and affection. But Dai’s lips didn’t linger there long; they moved to Shun’s ears, where he whispered, his voice a breathy confession, “Do you have any idea how much I love you?”

Shun’s breath hitched, and he felt a wave of emotion wash over him at the sincerity in Dai’s voice. “I do,” he whispered back, his voice thick with emotion.

Hearing this, Dai’s resolve deepened, and he moved to capture Shun’s lips in a kiss that was anything but gentle. This kiss was deep, passionate, a merging of their souls as much as their bodies. Dai’s tongue explored Shun’s mouth with a fervor that spoke of the depth of his desire, his need to claim every part of Shun. Shun responded in kind, his hands tangling in Dai’s hair, pulling him closer as he surrendered to the intensity of the moment.

Their kiss grew hungrier, more desperate, as if they were trying to memorize the taste and feel of each other. Dai’s hands roamed over Shun’s body, tracing the contours of his muscles, feeling the heat of his skin. The room was thick with the tension between them, the air heavy with the scent of their mingled breaths.

As the need for air became overwhelming, Dai reluctantly pulled away from Shun’s lips, both of them gasping for breath. But he didn’t stop there; his lips moved to Shun’s neck, where he planted a series of hot, open-mouthed kisses that left Shun’s skin tingling with sensation.

The intensity of the moment, the heat of Dai’s touch, the depth of their shared emotions—all of it combined into a powerful cocktail that left them both breathless and yearning for more. The air around them crackled with electricity, the space between them shrinking as they gave in to the pull of their desire.

In that moment, everything else faded away—the world outside, the worries of tomorrow. All that existed was the two of them, wrapped in each other’s arms, sharing a connection that transcended words and physical touch. And as they continued to explore each other, to express their love in the most intimate way possible, they both knew that this night was just the beginning of something far greater, something that would bind them together forever.
