The early morning light streamed through the curtains, casting a soft, golden glow across the room. Dai awoke to the gentle sound of Shun’s breathing, the peaceful rhythm of sleep. He lay there for a moment, his heart swelling with love as he watched Shun, who was still lost in dreams. The sight was so serene, so beautiful, that it took everything in Dai not to reach out and trace his fingers along Shun’s delicate features.

Instead, he carefully slipped out of bed, making sure not to disturb Shun. With quiet, deliberate movements, Dai pulled the blanket over Shun, tucking it around him as if it were a shield against the morning chill. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Shun’s forehead, a silent promise of love and care. Shun stirred slightly but didn’t wake, and Dai smiled to himself as he tiptoed out of the bedroom.

In the living room, Dai began his morning workout routine. The steady rhythm of his breathing filled the space, a quiet meditation as he moved through the exercises. He liked the solitude of the early morning, the way it allowed him to focus his mind and prepare for the day ahead. But today, his thoughts kept drifting back to Shun, still asleep in their bed.

As Dai was finishing up a set, he heard a rustle from the hallway. He turned to see Shun standing in the doorway, his hair slightly tousled, eyes still heavy with sleep. “Good morning,” Shun said softly, his voice thick and warm.

Dai’s face lit up with a smile. “Good morning, baby,” he replied, the affection in his voice unmistakable.

Shun smiled back, a light blush coloring his cheeks as he walked over to Dai. He sat down on the mat in front of him, watching as Dai continued to stretch. “You’re up early,” Shun said, his eyes following the movements of Dai’s muscles as they flexed and relaxed.

“Habit, I guess,” Dai shrugged, his smile turning playful. “Wanna join me? We can work out together.”

Shun raised an eyebrow, his smile widening. “Why not?” he said, feeling a surge of energy at the thought of sharing this moment with Dai.

Dai got up and moved closer, standing over Shun and offering his hand to help him up. Shun took it, feeling the warmth and strength in Dai’s grip as he was pulled to his feet. Dai’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he guided Shun through some stretches, their bodies moving in sync, mirroring each other. The air between them felt electric, charged with the quiet intimacy of the morning.

They decided to try a partner workout, one that required them to rely on each other’s strength and coordination. They stood back-to-back, their arms linked at the elbows, and began to lower themselves into squats. As they moved up and down in unison, Shun could feel the solidness of Dai’s body against his own, the warmth radiating through the thin fabric of their clothes.

With each squat, they pressed their backs together more firmly, grounding themselves in each other’s presence. “You’re doing great,” Dai murmured, his voice low and encouraging.

Shun blushed again, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks. “Thanks,” he whispered back, the intimacy of the moment wrapping around them like a warm blanket.

Later, Dai was doing push ups and told Shun to lay down on the mat, positioning himself directly under Dai, who took a plank position above him. Shun’s heart began to race as he realized what Dai had in mind. He bit his lip, trying to suppress a smile as Dai lowered himself into the first push-up.

Dai’s face hovered just inches above Shun’s, and with a mischievous glint in his eye, he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to Shun’s lips. Shun let out a surprised laugh, his heart fluttering at the tenderness of the gesture. As Dai pushed himself back up, Shun felt a wave of warmth wash over him, spreading from the tips of his toes to the top of his head.
