Torrey's POV:

Two days later...

I look at the mirror staring at my bullet wound in my stomach.

The bandages were freshly changed, but the pain was still there, a constant reminder of what had happened. I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.
I sit on the hospital bed.

The door opened, and Liv walked in, her face lighting up when she saw me. "Hey, how are you feeling?" she asked, her voice full of concern.

I managed a small smile. "Better, considering everything. How about you?"

"My mom.. she hasn't really been taking it well. She believes it is her fault about what happened" she said closing the door.

"I'm sorry to hear that," I said softly, my heart aching for her. "It's not her fault, though. Chris did this to himself"

Liv sighed, kneeling down behind me as she wraps her arms around me."I know, but she still feels responsible. It's been hard on her. She's been distancing herself from everyone."

"Sometimes it takes time for people to come to terms with things" "But she needs to know that it's not her fault"

Liv nodded.

"I'm hoping she'll come around. For now, I'm just focused on helping her and Shawn through this, as he came back to the house"

"I never got the chance to thank you.. for everything. You are the reason I'm alive right now"

I looked at her with a smile. "I don't know what I'd do without you. You saved me more times than I can count"

She smiles, and looks at me. "Its like I'm your personal angel" She said sarcastically, as we both started to laugh.

"You are my angel" I look at her, as she gazes at me, with a soft smile forming her lips.

I leaned in, and she met me halfway. Our lips brushed together in a tender kiss.

Just as the kiss deepened, a soft knock came at the door. Startled, we pulled away.

The door creaked open, and Liv's mom stepped in.

"It's time to make our statements in the police station. But Torrey... if you need more time-"

"It's okay...I'm ready" I interrupted her as I got up. Before I could walk, I feel Liv's hand on mine.

I didn't think she would want her mom to know.. but I look at the mom and she softly smiles leaning away as we left the room.

We arrived at the police station, where officers greeted us with professional but empathetic nods. Liv's mom spoke briefly with the officers as I glanced around and my eyes meet Isaiah.

I haven't seen him since that night. I felt guilty considering, he almost lost his life because of me.

He gets up from the chair and walks to me. We stared at each other for a moment before he pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry"  my voice muffled against his shoulder. "You didn't deserve any of this"

Isaiah pulled back slightly but kept his hands on my shoulders. "It's not your fault. I'm just glad you're safe. Finally"
